(JP) Con vinced that controls will be further relaxed, the nation's auto makers next week start what probably will be their biggest productive quarter in more than six months. They have scheduled the pro duction of approximately 400,000 passenger cars for April; they hope they can do as well In May and June. ' . Authorizations already given the Industry contemplate the production of 1,050,00.0 passenger cars in the April-June quarter. With only a few "breaks" in materials allocations or authorization to borrow from future inventories, the car makers easily can step this volume up to 1,200,000. There Isn't any question that the materials situation has eased substantially in recent months.
