He was 55. Buglione was vice president since 1999 and was responsible for overseeing uV offices of marketing, recruitment, admissions, the registrar, student service, facilities management and institutional research. The college, founded in 1964, is located in the SoHo district of Manhattan at Varick and Canal streets. He was the coordinator of the Staten Island Extension Center and also served as co-chair of the Middle States Steering Committee in preparation for the 10-year reac-creditation process for the college.

Before becoming vice president, he served as the school's director of administrative services. Prior to coming to the college, Buglione had served as the deputy director of research at the Nathan S. "Dr. Buglione was an extraordinary asset to Audrey Cohen College for more than two decades," said college President Stephen Greenwald. "His dedication, vision, spirit and humor were admired by, and an inspiration to, his professional colleagues and friends." Viviano said information from witnesses in White Plains and in Rockland led investigators to believe that Torres had fled to Georgia. A few hours after the shooting, Spring Valley police found the white pickup truck witnesses said Torres was riding in at the time of the shooting. "We've been in constant contact with authorities in Georgia since the shooting, and we received information Tuesday night of a more specific location where Torres might be hiding," Viviano said.

"We notified the DeKalb County Sheriffs Office of the new information and we received word this morning that a team from their fugitive squad had made the arrest Attempted-murder charge faces suspect in White Plains case Richard Liebson The Journal News A Rockland County man wanted in the Feb. 7 shooting of a White Plains construction worker was captured yesterday by police in Georgia. Hector A. Torres, 23, of 4 S. Madison Spring Valley, was arrested by officers from the DeKalb County (Ga.) Sheriffs fugitive squad at 8:30 a.m., said White Plains police Capt Peter Viviano.

Torres is accused of shooting Jesus Mota Martinez in the chest with an automatic handgun shortly after 9 p.m. Feb. 7 in front of a raigned in City Court on a felony charge of second-degree attempted murder. Although police are investigating whether the shooting was gang-related, Viviano said, "It appears that it was just a long-running dispute between these two men from when Torres lived on Ferris Avenue a few years ago."
