FiirtMfltu Daily Sttuntey, March James MacArthur guest at pageant MELODY PATTERSON James MacArthur, star of CBS-TV popular Hawaii Five-0 show will guest star tonight at Miss Alaska-Universe Pageant, 8 p.m. in Hering Auditorium. MacArthur plays (he of Dano Williams, member of the Five-O investigative unit on the Hawaii State Police Force series, a A a i in Fairbanks yesterday with his wife, actress Melody Patterson. He will introduce contestants for the 1972 Miss Alaska-Universe title crown and assist as master of ceremonies during portions of this evening's program. MARCH 18 CONCERT-A special concert featuring Henry Noldan, tenor, and Joyce Angelmyer, soprano, both of Anchorage, will be presented Saturday, March 18, at Alaskaland, 8:15 p.m. The Alaska Association for the Arts is sponsoring the event On the program is German leider and opera selections. Janet GeUert is the piano accompanist. The vocal duo, accompanied by pianist Janet Gellert, has prepared "An Evening of Song" which includes German leider and a number of opera selections. The two Anchorage vocalists have selected German leider by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Schumann and Greig.

These vocal selections are art songs with music written specifically to fit the mood of the words. Noldan and Mrs. Anglemyer are presenting the concert under the sponsorship of the Alaska Association for the Arts. Tickets are priced at $2.50, general admission, and $1.50 for students and military. Fairbanksans will remember Henry Noldan's performance three years age in "Carmina Burana," with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra.

Since moving to Anchorage Henry has played leading roles in the Lyric Opera Theater production of "The Barber of Seville," "La Traviata," and "II Trovatore." a is construction coordinator for the Bureau of Land Management Pipeline Division. When Henry lived in Fairbanks, he was active in the Alaska Association for the Arts. Soprano Joyce Anglemyer is a graduate of the Julliard School of Music in New York. She has sung leading roles in productions staged by the Anchorage Lyric Opera Theater and Anchorage Community Chorus. She is the wife of Anchorage banker, Richard Anglemyer.

They have no children. Piano accompaniment for the March 18 concert will be Janet Gellert who studied music at Vassar College, New York University and Columbia University.
