Zoli Mr. Darius V. Zoli, age 83 of Wilmington, passed away Thursday evening, May 10, 2001 at the Alterra Assisted Living community. Mr. Zoli was born June 18, 1917 to the late Salvatore and Philomena (Stelluto) Zoli.

He served our country in the Air Force during World War II and worked as a supervisor for the Pennsylvania Railroad (Amtrak), retiring in 1977 after 44 years of service. An accomplished trumpet player, he had the honor of performing for 5 U.S. presidents, and was the last surviving member of the original Zoli Concert Band which opened St. Anthony's carnival and later the Italian Festival for more than 50 years. He was also an avid trav- eler and had served in the Na- -tional Guard.

Mr. Zoli is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, the former Marie A. Caputo; his daughters and sons-in-law, Constance V. and John Faraone of Hockessin, Darlene L. Yonko of Wilmington and Daria and Dino Taviano of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Grace, Andrea and Christine Faraone, Thomas 1, i n.n -j iAf James A.

Watson Jr. Age 55 of Wilmington, DE departed this life on. Thursday, May 10, 2001 at home. Mr. Watson was the son of the late James A.

and Leona M. Watson Sr. He is survived by. 2 daughters, Carmella R. Caulk and Belinda Patrick, both of Wilmington, DE and 2 sons, Jamie M.

Foster and Bryan Price, also of Wilmington, DE. He was also the father of the late Sean Price who also resided in Wilmington. He is also survived by 4 brothers, Charles of Gaithersburg, MD, Leon of Wilmington, DE, Preston and Kenneth, both of Michigan; 3 sisters, Janice Williams of Orlando, FL, Barbara Morris and Suzie Hy-man, also of Wilmington, DE and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing will be held from 9-11am, followed by the funeral service at 11am on Tuesday, May 15 at Sharon Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2001 Washington Wilmington, DE. Burial will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N.

DuPont New Castle, DE following the funeral service. Arrangements by J. LLEWELLYN BELL Memorial Chapel, Inc. Wayne D. Welch Age 58 of Harrington died in his home on May 12, 2001 after a long battle with cancer.

Mr. Welch retired in 1993 after working 32 years at the DuPont Nylon Plant in Seaford. After retiring he worked part time as a rangemaster and hunting guide for Sporting Clays and Hunting Lodge in Sudlersville, MD. Mr. Welch was a lifelong sportsman, an enthusiastic hunter, trapper and clay target shooter who also enjoyed crabbing.

An authority on Flathead Ford engines, Mr. Welch was noted for his building of high performance racing engines. A number of area vintage stock cars ran engines built by Mr. Welch, who also restored vintage Fords from the 30s and 40s. A pickup truck owned and restored by him won trophies at classic car competitions.

Mr. Welch was predeceased by his father, Samuel Welch in 1977. Mr. Welch is survived by his wife of 39 years, Bonita B. Welch; a son and daughter-in-law.

Timothy W. and Susan L. Welch of Vernon; a grandson, Zachery Hunter Welch and his mother, Agnes G. Welch of Harrington. Friends may call Tuesday evening May 15 at PRICE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Dorman Harrington from 7-9 pm.

Of Byram NJ died Friday, May 11, 2001 at Hack-ettstown Community Hospital. He was bom in Wilmington, DE and a graduate of St. Elizabeth's High School, DE. He moved to Byram Twp. 28 years ago.

Mr. Dunbar was a Graphic Designer for F.L.M. Graphics in Fairfield, NJ for the past 6 years. He was a parishioner of St. Michael's R.C.

Church in Netcong, NJ and also attended Fairfeigh Dickinson University. Mr. Dunbar loved his family, a passion for life, cooking, wine, traveling, the ocean and the NY Rangers. He is survived by his wife, Carol; 1 son, Kevin of Boston, MA; 1 daughter, Judy Dunbar of Rutherford, NJ; his parents, John Sr. and Mary of Colonia, NJ; 2 brothers Timothy of New Bedford, MA and Joseph of West Milford, NJ- 7 sisters, Janice Gaglia of Tinton Falls, NJ, Donna Schwartz of Colonia, NJ, Kathleen Dunbar of Ocean, NJ, Denise Aber of Easton, PA, Mary Sabine of Manalapan, NJ, Corine Jastregbski of Phil-lipsburg, NJ and Paula Verdjak of Phillipsburg, NJ.

Also survived by 17 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at 8:30 am from the MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 31-33 Main Netcong, NJ. A Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 am at St. Michael's Church, 8 Church Netcong, NJ. Visiting hours are Tuesday, May 15 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Billy Joe Eller Billy Joe Eller, age 68 of New Castle, DE died Saturday, May 12, 2001 at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Elsmere, DE. Mr. Eller had been the owneroperator of JR Vending for 25 years. He had also worked for Chrysler for 13 years and as a tractor trailer driver for 10 years.

A US Army veteran, who served from 1951 to 1955, Mr. Eller was a Life Member of VFW Post 8175, Elkton, MD and was a past officer of the post. He enjoyed slot machines. He is survived by daughter, Sharon Bullock of Rising Sun, MD; brother, Harry George Eller of Nottingham, PA; twin sister, Betty Sue Edwards of Conow-ingo, MD; a grandson; many nieces and nephews and a longtime friend and companion, Joanne M. Keating.

A Committal Service will be held at 1 1 am Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at the Chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Bear, DE. Visitation will be private. For full obit, visit www.dmvobits.com Jane Elizabeth Walker Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Walker age 76 of Middletown, formerly of New Castle, died on Saturday, May 12, 2001 at Christiana Hospital, Newark. Mrs. Walker had been a key- Eunch operator with the State of lelaware Department of Labor in Newark, retiring in 1986 after 20 years of service. She had previously worked for Wiltex for 17 years and later for Allied Kid.

She was a member of Comer-stone Senior Center and was a talented painter and seamstress. Mrs. walker was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by ner husband, John L. Walker; children, James C.

Walker and his wife, Elaine of New Castle and Deborah W. Wilson and her husband, Howard of Middletown; a sister, Frances Agnes Emans of Men-don, OH and 4 grandchildren, Amy Willoughby and her husband, Oliver, Beth McKay and her husband, Rob, Erin Wilson and Matthew Walker. A funeral service will be held at 11:45 am, Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Minquadale, New Castle. Elizabeth M.Walters "Betty" Age 88 of Galena, MD formerly of Baltimore, MD died May 12, 2001 in University Hospital, Baltimore. Mrs.

Walters was born in Baltimore on Sept. 27, 1912 daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine Ropka Dietz. For 25 years she worked as an office manager for Dr. Palese retiring in 1976. She was a member of St.

Dennis R.C. Church, assoc. member of Olivet United Methodist Church and active with the Galena Busy Bees, Galena Lions Club and Hospice of Kent County. Betty enjoyed playing cards and traveling. She is preceded in death by her first husband of 37 years Francis J.

Smith in 1971 and 4 siblings. She is survived by her second husband of 10 years, Addie H. Walters; 5 children, Mary E. Sauter and Angela M. Smith both of Berlin, MD, Jane F.

Jan-sen of Lanham, MD, Mary Catherine (Camilla) of PA, Lawrence G. Rose Sandom Joseph Age 86 of Seaford, DE died Saturday, May 12, 2001 at Sea-ford Center Genesis Elder Care, Seaford, DE. Born in Milford, DE, the daughter of the late John and Ethel Donovan Sandom. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bridgeville Church of God in Bridgeville, DE. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Henry Joseph in 1973 and 2 granddaughters, Billie Dea Beck and Cheryl Christy Joseph. Richard D. Livingston Jr. Age 51 of Chesapeake, VA died Sunday, May 6, 2001 at home. He fought the fight against diabetes for over 41 years. Born in Buffalo, NY, the son on Richard and Shirley Livingston of Seaford, DE.

He worked for the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) as manager of development and cost for 19 years. He was a member of Kempsville Presbyterian Church' and was an honors graduate of Regent University and Lehigh University. He loved Church and his Lord. He loved to golf and read. He was fascinated with the history of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department.

He was enjoying spending time on his memoirs. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Mariann Knipmeyer Livingston; 2 daughters, Jordan C. and Joanna C. and 1 son, Justin H. R.

all of Chesapeake, VA; 1 sister, Susan Manlove of Seaford, DE; 1 brother, William L. Livingston of Middletown, DE; 1 grandchild, Alana L. of Chesapeake, VA; 1 niece and 4 nephews. A Service of Celebration was held on Wednesday, May 9 at Kempsville Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.

miJ giving 'Indicates obituaries running for the first time Joseph V. Barry Age 88 of Wilmington died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark. Mr. Barry retired from the DuPont Textile Fiber Division in 1974 after working for the company for more than 42 years. He was a member of St.

Anthony's Church and an avid golfer. He was a member of the DuPont Country Club for over 60 years and a past chairman of the golf committee. He served as president of the Delaware State Golf Association in 1967 and was a Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Barry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary (Bryner) Barry.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 15 at St. Anthony's Church, 901 N. DuPont Wilmington, DE 19805, where friends may call after 9 am. Interment will be in St. Joseph's on the Brandywine Cemetery.

13 in New Castle in' the 1960s and 1970s. She was a devoted wife and mother, and enjoyed visiting the beach and the mountains. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bernard W. Dawson. A son, Frank A.

Novello of New Castle, DE; a daughter and son-in-law, Kath-ryn T. and C. Edward Simpson of Berlin, MD; a sister, Rosemarie McKern of Essex, IA; and a granddaughter and her husband, Krista and Robert Carroll of Orlando, Fl also survive. While her greatest joy came from family, she enjoyed the simpler pleasures of working with her flowers and gardens, appreciating all types of music and writing. Louise is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert A. DeLuca; her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Fil Sherry and Carla and Craig Marshall; her son, Robert A. DeLuca, and her grandchildren, Tucker, De-ana, Olivia, Jack, Claudia and Berkeley.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceasea by her brother, Al Masucci, Jr. A memorial mass celebrating Louise's life will be offered at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, Cedar Clayton Sts. Thursday morning, May 17 at 11 am, where the family will receive visitors beginning at 10 am.

Fox Age 66 of passed away Elsmere, DE on Tuesday, May 8, 2001 in the Christiana Hospital. Patricia was a RN for 30 years with St. Francis Hospital, retiring in 1985. She was a 1955 gradu- ate of the St. i Francis School of Nursinq and a lovint wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, especially for her children and grandchildren. Patricia was a member of the Corpus Christi Church. Sister of the late Kevin O'Neill, Patricia is survived by her husband of 45 years, Paul R. Fox, and her children, Paul R. Fox, Jr.
