Mosher The family of Dr. William A. Mosher, 59, of 101 Townsend Road, Newark, suggests that flowers be omitted and that contributions be sent to the Dr. William A. Mosher Memorial Fund with checks payable to the University of Delaware and sent to the alumni office at the university.

Dr. Mosher, head of the chemistry department at the university for 25 years until 1969, died July 23 while vacationing in Paris. Mrs. Thomas Overman Memorial services were held July 20 for Mrs. Elizabeth (Betts) Overman, 51, of Warren, Ohio, who died July 18 in Warren General Hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Overman was a former resident of Wilmington. She was the wife of Thomas Overman. She had lived in Park Forest, before moving to Warren 10 years ago. Besides her husband, Mrs.

Overman is survived by two sons, Thomas C. III of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Robert Champion, Ohio; two stepbrothers, Everett M. Aikman Jr. of Southbridge, and Fairfax H. Aikman of Old Kennett Road, Wilmington.

Cremation was in Highland Park Crematory, Warren. Mrs. Charles F. Massey Mrs. Louise M.

Massey, 82, formerly of 1225 Pine Lane, Chester, died yesterday in 1 Sacred Heart Hospital, Chester, after a long illness. Mrs. Massey was born in Philadelphia. She was reared in Wilmington and moved to Chester after her marriage. Her husband, Charles F.

Massey, died in 1969. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Clara S. Paulman of Wilmington. Services will be Monday morning at 11 at the McCrery Memorial Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, where friends may call one hour beforehand.

Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Delaware Heart. Association, Independence Mall. Peninsula Shorts Shooting Suspect Arrested LAUREL Police Chief John McGlaughlin said today a suspect in a Sunday night shooting which blinded an elderly bricklayer in one eye has been arrested in Washington, D.C. McGlaughlin said Edward Burke, 21, of the 600 block Elm Street, was sought for questioning in the wounding of Raymond Green, 76.

Green had stopped his car on Center Street, McGlaughlin said, after he thought he had a blowout. He was still behind the wheel when a gunman approached and fired at least two shots, one of which struck Green in the cheek and damaged his right eye. Although police said robbery might have been the motive, the assailant fled without taking anything. Krishnan Arrested OCEAN CITY, Md -Police said the arrest of a young Hare Krishna devotee, charged Tuesday night with panhandling on the boardwalk may break up the practice of the group of Krishna followers. Atta Mae Cortoon, 19, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested and released on her own recognizance pending a trial in District Court.

Complaints from vacationers who said the religious-sect members congregate, chant and beg brought the police action. Lifeguard to Rescue SEAFORD A lifeguard was credited yesterday with saving the life of a 10-yearold boy at the Jaycee pool here. Police said James Mitchell was nearby when Christopher Rucker of Mississippi, got into water over his head. Mitchell pulled the boy from the pool and applied mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Rucker was revived and taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

Antoinette Connelly Travis, 90, of 1348 Lancaster died yesterday at her home of an apparent heart attack. Mrs. Travis was a lifelong resident of Wilmington. Her husband, Thomas R. Travis, died several years ago.

She is survived by a son, Thoms Canby Park; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Durkin, Charlottesville, and Mrs. Jean Kirby, Wilmington; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Moran, Longwood, and Mrs. Helen Blaha, Baltimore, 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mass of the Resurrection will be offered Saturday morning at 9:30 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Cedar and Clayton with interment in Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow night at the Mealey Funeral Home, 7th and Broom Sts. Thomas F. Glennon Thomas F.

Glennon, 49, a teacher in the Lombardy Elementary School on Foulk Road, died Monday at his home in Valley Brook Apartments, Aston, after an apparent heart attack. Mr. Glennon had been a member of the Lombardy faculty for 17 years, coming to Delaware from Green Ridge School in Aston. He was a graduate of LaSalle College, Philadelphia. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.

Mr. Glennon is survived by a daughter, Patricia, and two sons, Michael and Clay, all of Lansdowne, and his mother, Mrs. Cecilia File Collins, with whom he lived. He was divorced. A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 tomorrow morning in St.

Catholic Church, East Lansdowne. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple, Pa. Friends may call after 9 tomorrow morning at the Richard L. Kelly Funeral Home, Long Lane and Walnut Upper Darby, Pa.

Dewey May Dewey May, 51, of 63 Ivy Road, died yesterday in General Division after a long illness. Mr. May was born in Roderfield, W. and had lived in the Wilmington area for 10 years. He was a machinist for Bancroft Mills for 10 years.

Prior to coming to Wilmington he was a coal miner in Twin Branch, W. Va. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge No. 1578, New Castle; and a member of the Kennett Square VFW Post 5467. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.

Mildred Mann May; four daughters, Miss Fredia May, at home, Miss Cheryl May, at home, Mrs. Patricia Keesee of Alexandria, and Mrs. Nita Gay Carden of Wilmington; four brothers, John, Troy, Robert and Thomas all of West Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Oma Franklin of West Virginia and Mrs. Lilly Freeman of Tennessee; and four grandchildren.

Va. Dover Man's Body Found In Christina The body of a Dover man who escaped Saturday from Delaware State Hospital was found yesterday in the Christina River near Newport. He was identified by New Castle County police as Samuel Barrett, 61, of 211 Queen Dover. A hospital spokesman said Barrett had been a patient since Dec. 6, 1970.

Hospital personnel found Barrett missing shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday. His escape was reported to police Late Sunday two Minquadale boys told police they saw a man sitting on the Penn Central railroad tracks east of Interstate 95 near a bridge. They said he saw them and fled through the weeds and into the water. The body was found at 5 p.m.
