They hare the colce of those from the Democratic party and from the Republican party.

Our advice is that the voters pat their cross opposite the name of every (Democrat for county office. 5 A. C. Bernard and J. Brack Richaflson are the candidates for state senator.

Bernard has been resident of Pima county for forty years. He has Always been a Democrat, of the con structive type. He has represented Pima county before in the legislature and on that occasion prevented the politicians from removing the state University to some other point. IHe is thorough, sagacious and entitled to the suffrage of the people of Pima county. Richardson is capable in every way.

Paul and Wilcox deserve the support of every tic party for governor of Arizona. When this is said, it is difficult even for his staunchest admirers to go further.

Fred Colter carries the brand "Democrat" on his back and a great many people, on Tuesday next, will take him at his labeled value. Let us see just exactly-what and who Fred Colter is. Fred Colter is an estimable young man, considerably under forty years of age, wealthy and with no minor dependents. He hails from Apache county; was a member of that county's board of supervisors, was a member of the constitutional convention and for the past two years has been senator from the same county in the state legislature. He has held several appointive commissioner-ships, under Hunt, and was made national committeeman from A9rizona, because of his financial ability to travel through the country.

As a member of the constitutional convention he belonged to the radical Democratic majority. His stand can be characterized In two' words, during the sessions ol that memorable assembly: "Me It Is as a state senator that we find Fred Colter In his Democrat in the county. Curtis Tobey has left the county. The last heard from him wss to the effect that he was going to some point in Oregon to make his residence. He could not Join the army, for the army will not take a man who has an arrested case of tuberculosis. Woods is "on the square." Woods is clean and has conducted a clean campaign." He win be is credit to the Democratic party and to Pima County. A vote for him is right and proper. J. T.

He did what he was told to do in every case. He was with, for and by George 'Hunt. He was part and parcel of the Hunt machine. He was determined, at all times, thai Huntism should triumph.
