Evangelical Church Regular order ot Sunday School every Sunday at 9:30 a. m. Morning service every Sunday at 10:30. Evening services on the first and Church. The members assembled in the church parlors which were decorated in keeping with the Hallowe'en style.

There were tho pumpkin fnces, four big paper mriche skeletons, witches, cats nnd a largo black kettle on a tripod. Also used to good effect wero twisted streamers of tho black and yellow crepo paper, nnd this with tho shading of the lights created a very pretty effect. Music, was furnished by the Sunday School Orchestra-and Mr. Thomas of East St. Louis was present and gave tho address of tho evening.

Mr Thomas Is the president of one of the largest Bible Classes of the United States. Adding to the pleasure of the evening was tho serving ot coffee, sandwiches and pie. The attendance was large nnd every ono voted It tt moat enjoyable evening. Woman's Club Dance One of the most successful dances of the season nnd a brilliant affair was tho costume dancing party given last evening In the Legion Hall by the welfare committee of the club, who deserve much credit for the success and the dancers are only hoping that the committee will some time In the near future give another affair of the kind. Everyone had such a wonderfully pleasant evening that tho hour for going home was not at nil welcomed and requests were made to continue Mr.
