TUCSON, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 1975 PAGE TWO THE ARIZONA DAILY STAR hollywood vr'j auesiions i if- i ask dick kleiner a w-. MM -aw ti jgt si Si v-'V Sr iU Destiny Newspaper EnlerpriM Assn. Dear Dick: Whatever became of Princess Yasmin, the daughter of Rita Hayworth and the late Prince Aly Khan? Mary Bohus, Taber, Can. Rita's friends tell me that Yasmin is studying opera in New York. She comes out to Los Angeles frequently to visit her mother, however.

Dear Dick: Could you please tell me who sings the song on "The Family Holvak," and if it's the same person who sang the song for the show, Jerry Brink, Brush Valley, Denny Brooks is the voice who sings "The Family Holvak's" theme, "Look How Far We've Come." And, yes. Brooks also sang the "Sierra" theme. Since both shows did poorly, maybe poor Denny will become known as "The Voice of Death." TDear Dick: Could you please tell me where 1 could purchase a tape or record of the theme songs from "MA'S'H" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show? Mrs. L.K.F., Detroit, Mich. It's going to be tough.

The "M'A'S'H" theme was once recorded on Capitol, but I'm told the record is out of print, and Capitol has no plans for re-issuing it. The "M'A'S'H" people are trying to get somebody else to record it. As for Mary's theme that tune, written by Sonny Curtis, had two recordings a single by Sonny on Ovation and as part of a Sammy Davis Jr. album of TV themes. Both are old, and may be hard to get.

Your best bet is to try used record shops. Dear Dick: Regarding your comment about Mark Shera he's not Italian, he's Jewish" let me say that you nave fallen into the trap of confusing nationality and religion. There is no Jewish nationality. Your comment is as absurd as saying "he's not French, he's Protestant" or "he's not British, he's Catholic." There is no Protestant nationality, no Catholic nationality, no Jewish nationality. Eugene Zweig, Southfield, Mich.

I sit corrected. Yw aresjdutdy-righl4Jshall try to keep my foot out of thaftrap in the future. Dear Dick: In 1835, I saw movie in which the song, "When I Grow Too Old to Dream" was featured. Do you know the name of the movie, who starred in it, and is it still around? I would like to see it on TV. Mrs.

C. C. Leatherman, Ponca City.Okla. That beautiful song came from the 35 film, "The Night Is Young," starring Ramon Novarro, Evelyn Laye, Charlie But-terworth and Una Merkel. I doubt you'll see it again on TV; it's 40 years old and that's too old for TV.

Dear Dick: How did David McCallum become invisible, or is it true? Darren MacRae, Kensington, P.E.I., Can. Are you pulling my visible leg? Nobody can become invisible, at least not yet. If you're referring to how the trick is done on TV, they use a process called Chroma-Key. If you mean, how did the character he plays become invisible, he supposedly discovered a system-of breaking down molecular energy. Basically, it's supposed to be the same gizmo by which the Star Trekkers transport themselves from spaceship to planet.

Melinda Fee Decreed Life As Actress and I enjoyed it so much. Now I don't know what more I can say except onward and upward." Melinda learned what life was like on a prime time series. They worked from 7 to 7 and sometimes until 11 at night. During the months since the show began on July 15, she had only four days off on the fiye-day-per-week shooting schedule. "It was hard work, but I loved the people involved David and the crew.

It really was wonderful working on a series like 'The Invisible You know, actors are funny people. They either complain about no work or too nuch work." But with all those diverse skills and undeniable beauty, I don't think Melinda Fee has to worry about not work By TOM R1STE Star Television Writer r-It seems that Melinda Fee was destined to become an actress. Of course, it didn't hurt that she is one of the most beautiful women on the screen today, but there is more than beauty to Melinda Fee. The daughter of former film star Astrid Allwyn and insurance executive Charles. Fee, Melinda grew up in Beverly Hills surrounded by people in the entertainment industry.

When other youngsters were playing with dolls, Melinda was already staging her own shows. She graduated from the University "orSouthem California with honors, receiving her B.A. in drama. And then after making plans to attend Cambridge, she ended up spending a year at Sweden's University of Uppsala where she attended the Royal Drama Academy, studied Swedish drama, language and performed Strindberg and Ibsen In the original Scandina--viarr. But her diverse skills do not end there. She enjoys gourmet cooking, needlepoint, interior decorating, water and snow skiing, sewing and designing her own clothes. Most recently she became an investor and vice-president of Fun-Sun Tennis, a new international women's tennis line for which she is designing some of the outfits and making appearances across the country in behalf of her new association. With all those talents, I suggested she should have gotten the lead in ABC's Wonder Woman film- "I was up for the part," she said.

"I read for them and someone else got it. If they cast only according to the physical type, nine out of 10 "times they don't get the performance. Very few extremely endowed women can act." That doesn't apply to Melinda. An actress, who received raye. reyiewsjor her work in Pinter's "The I nvpr," Albee's "The American Dream'' and Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard," she also scored in quite a different genre on commercial television.

I think its cancellation had nothing to do with the show. It's very depressing. We're still in a state of shock. "We seemed to be doing so well in that horrendous time slot. We were just beginning to start what could have been a very successful series.
