Dinner was served at 7 o'clock and were ar- Oldest Member of Grace Sunday Mrs. Berthn Harolxch Weber, widow of Philip Weber, and long a resident of Alton, died at 8:30 p. m. Thursday In Alton Memorial Hospital at the age of 80 years. She was the oldest member of the Grace M.

E. Church. Although in failing health for the last six due to advancing age, Mrs. Weber's final Illness was of only ten days. She had been moved to the hospital last Monday from her residence at 717 Linden place.

Mrs. Weber had been a resident of the Alton and'Brighton communities for almost her entire life. She was a native of Germany, born July 22, 1860, but came to Brighton with her parents when a mere child. Reared In the farm home of the family she was married there more than 60 years ago to Philip J. Weber who died Dec.

30, 1920. For a time after marriage they resided on a farm near Edwardsville, then returned to Brighton, and more than 35 years ago established their home in ton. Young'of 205 Boggess Sings For White Hall Lions Meeting Will Present Full Evening Concert at Presbyterian Church Monday Harold Boggess, baritone, accompanied by his father, Newton Boggess, presented a brief recital of songs before the White Hall Lions Club, Thursday night. Both formerly resided In White Hall. Returned from Hollywood, where he has been given a number of motion picture roles in the past year, under the name of John Holland, Harold Boggess is spending his vacation with his parents here. Monday night he will present a full evening's concert of songs at the First Presbyterian Church, where his father Is organist.

No admission Is to be charged for the concert, which begins at 8 p. but a free-will offering, to be turned over to the church's music fund, will be received during the evening. Boggess is being kept busy during his last week here. Next Sunday he has accepted invitations to sing during morning services of two Presbyterian Churches.
