The prospective bride graduated from Suffern High School and the State University of New York College at Cortland with a bachelor of arts degree in communications. She is studying toward a master's degree in elementary education at St.

Thomas Aquinas College, Sparkill, and is employed by Vision Cable Advertising, Palisades Park, N.J. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claudio lodice of Suffern. He graduated from Don Bosco High School and Iona College, New Rochelle, with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration.

He is the owner of M. lodice Suffern, a landscape management company. The couple plan to be married in February 1993. Lake-McGeorge Susan Marie Lake of Garnerville and Alan McGeorge of Haverstraw were married Nov. 23 at the Central Presbyterian Church, Haverstraw.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Byrnes of Kingston, formerly of Stony Point. She graduated from Ramapo College, Mahwah, N.

with a bachelor of science degree in accounting, and is employed by the Ingersoll-Rand Company, Woodcliff Lake, N.J. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey J. McGeorge of Haverstraw.

He graduated from North Rockland High School; Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y., with a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy, and St. John's University School of Law, Jamaica, With a juris doctorate degree. He is in private law practice in Haverstraw, and is also the president of HUDVALCO the Hudson Valley Ambulance Meyer-Olsen Deborah S. Meyer and Leif G. Olsen of Los Angeles were married Jan.

4 at St. Thomas Church, New York City. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William W.

Meyer of White Plains. She graduated from White Plains High School and Wheaton College, Wheaton, 111., with a bachelor's degree. She is employed as a computer systems manager by the law firm of Sidley and Austin, Los Angeles. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Murray Olsen of Spring Valley. He graduated from Spring Valley High School and attended Wheaton College, Wheaton, 111. He is employed as a manager by Aron's Records, Los Angeles, and is also the lead guitarist and singer with the group, 'Our Mother's Children." Soto-Stefanow Rebecca Joan Soto of Haverstraw and Rand Julian Stefanow of Passaic, N.J., were married Jan. 18 at the Kingdom Hall Haverstraw Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. The bride is the daughter of Katherine and William Soto of West Haverstraw.

She graduated from North Rockland High School and the BOCES program in culinary arts. She was employed by Metropolitan Life insurance, New City, and also was a full-time minister at the Kingdom Hall Haverstraw Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. The bridegroom is the son of Jean and Robert Stefanow of Passaic, N.J. He graduated from Passaic High School and is employed by Aaron Maintenance Chimney, Passaic, N. J.

Mr. and Mrs. Stefanow are at Gary Neffenger Sclafani Sclafani-Neffenger Mr. and Mrs. James Sclafani of New City announce the engagement of their daughter, Carol of Akron, Ohio, to Gary P.

Neffenger Jr. of Amherst, Ohio. The prospective bride graduated from Clarkstown North High School and attended St. Thomas Aquinas College, Sparkill, and the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio. She is employed as a client service representative by IVI Travel Akron, Ohio.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary P. Neffenger Sr. of Amherst, Ohio.

Malcolm Marrs of Lancaster, Pa.
