Mrs. Emma Hheltz also has returned to her home at Chicago, after a very pleasant stay of several weeks with relatives. Mr. Nicholas Ost is visiting relatives in Iowa. The Modern Woodmen have no assessment for September.

There was none for April and according to custom there will be none for December. It is a good showing for the order. Thompson and Bauers have been busy of late potting a new roof on Bussell Wilson's residence at Dorsey. Mrs. Lou Burgess, of Alton, Is visiting her parents here.

We extou'd our congratulations and wish for them as a result of the union, endless joy. Our citizens are taking quite au interest in the County celebration and havo gone' about in a business like manner preparing to have our township represented.
