Whlte-DeLonay Wedding Announced Mr. and Mrs. Dennis White are announcing- 1 their marriage which took place several months ago but which has been kept a secret from friends. Mm. White was before her marriage Miss Cuba DeLonay, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Frank DeLonay ot Hectare Place. White is the son ot Mrs. Hannah Owttney of 1013 Liberty Street. He served overseas with the Fourth Dl- viilon and was also with the Army ot Occupation In Germany.

The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William of West Frankfort. Zumwalt is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

David Zumwalt of Nebo, 111, but has resided in Alton for seven years. He is an employee of the Western Cartridge Company. Mrs. J. D.

Kelly Surprised A largo number of friends surprised Mrs. J. D. Kelly at her home on Logan Street Monday night In honor of her birthday. The surprise was a complete one but nevertheless Mrs.

Kelly proved a very entertaining hostess. Tables were arranged after the guests arrival and cards were played until a late hour. TLa favora of the evening were presented to Mrs. A. Schnorr.

E. Rally at 18th St. Church Tonight The Christian Kndcavors of Madi- County will hold a Rally tonight at the Twelfth Street Presbyterian Church. The meeting will open with a Fellowship Supper qt Six Q'clock. The supper is being given in order that the Endeavorers might tnjoy a get-together.

Following supper the Endeavorers will adjourn to the church auditorium where a program will be held. Robert L. Bailey ot Granite City will preside. Tho address ot the evening will be given by F. Walker of Chicago.

Shirley Pendleton of East Fourth street entertained party of friends last evening at their home, In honor of their fourth wedding anniversary. The evening was spent in playing games and music. Mr. and Mrs. Pen- dloton were showered with beautiful presents.

Selkirk and Miss Emma Zonza went to Granite City Saturday to attend a meeting of the 14th IlllnoU District, Association of Graduate Nurses, which was held in the Rolling Mills. A very delightful afternoon was spent by the nurses. After tile business meeting the guests enjoyed dinner and music by the St. David Choral Society. Miss WUma Best of Granite City has succeeded Mrs.

George Pfeiffenberger as president, and Miss Helen Helghway has been' elected Corresponding Secretary. Miss Clark was the retiring secretary. William SUIp Surprised on Birthday Mrs. William Stalp ot Park Avenue entertained a number of friends last evening, arranging.the party as a surprise on her husband, who yesterday observed his 49th birthday. Music furnished the diversion of tho evening which closed with the serving of light refreshments. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs.

Sorority Hear on Convention. The Beta Gamma Upsilon Sorority enjoyed a meeting at the home of Miss Helen Corbett on Prospect street Monday night. The meeting was called for the purpose ot hearing reports on the national convention held at tho Drake in Chicago a short time ago. HeportR on the various features of the convention were given by Miss Katherine Pates, Miss lone Warner and Miss Helen Corbett. Following the business session Miss Corbett served refreshments.

A week from Saturday the Sorority will meet with Miss Dorothy Horton and Miss Helen Berry at their home on Washington avenue. Mrs. Andrew Wuetlner Return Home Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wuellner re turned home last evening from their honeymoon trip.

The young couple were married on Monday, Feb. 20th, at Alton, Iowa. Mrs. Wuellner Was before her marriage Miss Emma Lleb ot Alton, Iowa. They spent their honeymoon traveling through Iowa and other northern points.

Mr. and Mrs. Wuellner are guests for the present of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wuellner on Sixteenth Street, but expect to take possession of their own home on Royal Street within the next week or two.

Last evening a family reunion was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Wuellner on Union Street in honor ot the groom and bride.
