In the living room where the ceremony was read beneath floral arch of sweet peas, the were especially attractive. The bride wore an ensemble suit of tan kasha cloth, button trimmed, hat of tan and green straw. She. was unattended. Miss Tait WiLS popular students of the University of Arizona, from which institution she was graduated last June.

She had an active part in many of the campus organizations and was very popular. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Evans of Decatur and also attended the University of Arizona. Beside the intimate members of the family and a few friends, Perry Casey, Mrs.

Joseph Cope, David Evans or Tucson and Floyd Hunt of Decatur were the only guests. Following the service a wedding dinner was served, sixteen covers being laid. Mr. and Mrs. Evans left last evening for New Orleans for their honeymoon and will be at home in June 1.

WRIGHT. GROVER WEDDING IMPORTANT EVENT OF WEEK. The marriage of Miss Sallie Angel Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B.

Wright, and Richard Grover of Boston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Ricketson of Norwich, will be the principal event of the ween among society, folk of Tucson. The wedding will be solemnized at o'clock Friday evening in the garden at the home of the bride's -parents on South Sixth avenue.

Wright, Miss- Stella McPhee and Mrs. Platt Rogers, c. Denver will reach the city Wedhesday morning coming from California where they have spent a month visiting. During the past year Miss. Wright, who is a Smith College student, has been taking special courses piano, home economics and French literature at the university.

She is already an harpist, having studled with Salzedo while at Smith college. The entire week is crowded wittr luncheons, teas and dinners for the bride-to-be and the wedding party? FRIENDS OF BRIDE- TO.BE GATHER FOR LUNCHEON Using pink roses, clever place and cunning favors, Miss Steward entertained yesterday oring Miss Sallie Wright with a Juncheon at the Country club. A group of intimate friends of the honor guest were gathered about the attractive table. Places were marked for Miss Wright, Miss Virginia Meta, M.98 Mignon Crepin, Miss Theora Litt, Miss Amo McKee, Miss Louis: McKee, Miss Georgette Rebell, Miss Margaret Bayless, Miss Pauline Kitt and Miss Betty Wrignt and the hostess, Miss Steward. SURPRISE FOR HONOR GUEST AT SHOWER GIVEN YESTERDAY A lovely yellow rose of ribbon seemed but a part of the decorative motir, an enlarged reflection of the yellow roses in bowls about the drawing room of Miss Margaret Bayless' home yesterday until the honor guest, Miss Sallie Wright, pulled a small and unpretending ribbon, Miss Wright then found herself the center of dainty bits of fluttering linen and lace, which, when gathered proved to be handkerchieves. Thus did a group of close friends choose to impress Easter, 1925, upon Miss Wright.

The Bayless home was arranged Easter flowers, tiny chicken favors and other items suggesting the season. The refreshments carried the yellow scheme of the roses. The guests who were bidden were Misses Sallie Wright, Marion Fallor, Murial Upham, Mildred Steward, Virginia Mets, Virginia Thayer, Bernice Rebeil, Georgette Rebell, Lucille Harris, Theora Litt, Mary Franklin. Mignon Crepin, Ama McKee, Mildren Brown, Louise McKee, Maude Spiller. and Pauline Kitt.

The young hostess was assisted by her mother, Mrs. J. S. Bayless. ARRIVE FROM COAST GIRLS' SCOOL Four Tucson misses arrived last evening from the Convent of the Sacred Heart at Menlo Park, for the Easter holidays with their parents.

Barbara and Miss Mary Elise Kruttschnitt, daughters of Mr. ana Mrs. Julius Kruttechnitt, were accompanied by Miss Frances and Miss Janet Kramer, daughter of Mr. and Mra, Leighton Kramer. The girls will remaln in Tucson until.

Russell. Rhapsody Nos Bernice Hayhurst. PORner. CO-EDS TO PLAY PAIR OF GAMES The co-eds at. Tempe Normal and the University of Arizona are to play two exchange games of base ball in the coming weeks, it was announced yesterday by Miss Ina Gittings, physical education director at the university.

These are friendly games and have absolutely no commercial angle. One game will be played in Tempe this week and the second game May 2, at the university diamond. The visiting team will view the horseshow during the afternoon. The girls on the campus are beginning the training for the track season and plans are being prepared for a meet. The swimming classes and contests will start next week and A tennis tournament is on the athletic calendar of the school.

DELEGATES STATE MUSIC MEET ANNOUNCED The accredited delegates to the state convention of the Federation of Music clubs will he guesta of the Phoenix Musicians' club Wednesday evening when Frieda Hempel, soprano bf International fame, gives her well -known Jenny Lind program. J. W. Estill of a former resident of Tucson, recently gave an exhibition of her paintings of Arizona cacti in the new building of the Friday Morning club of Los Angeles. The club Is one of the most Important of the coast city and a fitting background for the work of the artist, who has reputation throughout the Southwest for her work. Mra.

Estill was an important member of Tucson society during her active in the club life. Perry of the University of Arisona, It has been learned in Tucson.

Prot. Perry is on her Sabbatical leave and has spent it AB vialting professor at Wellesley and teacher of public speaking. She taught In Wellealey before coming to the zona university. Since teaching in the state, she has won a reputation for her excellent short atory writing I classes. several of her students having won honors for themselves by having original manuscripts cepted.
