Referred to the Claims Clerk read a petition from the Build- Ing Trades Council protesting against the working of prisoners on the streets as they take the place of sober working men who need the work for the support of their families. Clerk also read a petition from the Building and Trades Council requesting that all new or repair work on any public building, be done by union tradesmen, and that same la not the duty of a ianltor.
