Barnard From Son. Will Barnard, has written his father, W. D. W. Barnard, the Upper Alton druggist, that he Is getting along splendidly In Chicago, has entered the art school and he enjoys his work there more and more each day.

The young man hns secured ft good job, as a side issue In a drug store where he works from 7 o'clock nntil -10 every evening. Mrs, Stocker's daughter, who formerly lived, at St. Louis, has re cently moved to'California and will go to visit her daughter.
