The show originates from New York and London tonight, via two-way satellite and split screen techniques, making it possible for instant transatlantic conversations. In New York, Dick Cavett's format is the same as usual, and so is Michael Parkinson's, his BBC counterpart, in London. At press time, the only guests confirmed were Bette Davis and a New York cab driver with Cavett, and a London cabby with Parkinson.
