frank Weber of Mount Lemon resort was iu the oity yesterday. He will go up the trail with bis pack animals iu about two weeks. He thinks it will not be well for families to go np before the latter end of this month as the mountain air i rather braoiog yet. In a few days Mr. Weber will inform our people through the Star just what campers will need to provide themselves with.

R. J. Harttimn, of Kingman, ia N. now vUiting Tuoson, is a guest at Acadia. She lias been there for sev eral months.

Mrs. Roebling much interested in the many striking fea tures peculiar to mountain life and oenery in Arlaona, and especially in the flora of the b.ilU Oalaiiniis in the neighborhood of Aoadia. During her stay there she has been making a close study and oolleolion of flowers and all kinds of botanical growth tor the pleasure she finds in this liue of oooupittion. She haaoolleoted, pr eased or mounted over 100 varieties at the flora peculiar to Oracle, and points directly tributary thereto, and her present visit to the oity was for tbe purpose of consulting with Prof. Tourney, the botanist at the University to learu the partioultr netue of eaoh variety.

This Collection Mrs. Roebling will take to ber home in New Jersey, which will be a oonstant suggestion of her pleasant stay at Arcadia, Santa Cut i- linas. She will relura this morning to Arcadia with and Mrs. M. P.

Dodge. Last Tuesday at Phoenix Miss Edith Talbot was married to Will C. Burnes both of Phoenix. The bride is the daughter of one of the leading mer chants of Phoenix and a most estimable young lady. The groom is well and favorably known throughout the territory, bavins been twice a member of tbe legislature, a member of the world's fair board, as well as holding other offices of honor and trust.

He was the father of Navnjo county and is one o' the most sterling oitizens of northern Arizona and was one of the ablest mem bers of the 18th Arizona legislature, being the father of some of the very best laws passed by that body. Mr. Barnes is now engaged in business in Phoenix. He and his bride arrived in Tuoson yesterday and are registered at ihe New Orndorff hotel where their friends greeted them. The Stab ex tends to both bride aud groom most mncere congratulations, and wish them all of the blessings and good fortune consequent upon a bappv married lice.

Both have been most fortunate in the choice of a life partner. Arcadia Ranch. Mr. and Mrs. M.

P. Dodge of Aroa- dia at Oracle are in tbe oity. They brought in Mrs. liobung who has been entertained at the Arcadia during tbe winter. The approaoh of summer will oause many of oar people to seek the cool high altitude of Arcadia, whioh is a very pleasing resort.

There are many eastern visitors who-sire there in quest of health or recreation, who makes it very congenial to those who go np to spend a few days. All kind of games are engaged in by the pleasure seekers and the social features of Arcadia are the best, as the frequent correspondence to the stab from there indicate. There is no more desirable place to spend the summer or a few days than Aroudia, and Mr. Dodge makes it a business to send to this point private teamB for those who wish to be enter tained at the Aroadia. Mrs.

Dodge eel dom oomes to Tucson as she seems flrmly attached to her beautiful home in Oracle mountain, but wherf she does put in an appearance sh) has a host of friends who always greet ber and some who regret she cannot oonsent to make Tuoson her home.
