Mulder, 55, farmer of three miles north and one-half mile west of Perkins, Is grateful for considerate and helpful neighbors. Hospitalized since July 23 at Methodist hospital in Sioux City, where he underwent a stomach operation, and probably will be confined for another few days, he and his family were confronted last week with a need to get 22 acres of oats harvested without further delay, if loss was to be avoided. The job was done.

And without any sweat or fret- ing on the part of the Mulder family. Just as the oats reached ideal harvest stage, 32 neighbors moved in with six combines and four balers and completed the harvest within a half day's time. What's more they had a socially good time doing it, plus a tasty mid-afternoon lunch prepared by ladies of the neighborhood. Those who joined in the harvest bee were Richard Maassen, John G. Maassen, Tunis Jansma, Clifford DeBber, Jay Grcvengoed, Harvard Van Ballegooyen, Howard Boote, Cornie Van Vclzen, Richard Groeneweg, Arthur Ten Haken, Sam Van Otterloo, Sherwin Van Otter- loo, Peter R.

W. K. Price of Orange City, Sioux county's superintendent of schools, stated this week in regard to the meeting that "we in Sioux County should be taking steps to inform the public about this issue, and, in order to do so intelligently, we should have a group of key people who are themselves well- informed. Price suggested that Sioux county should be represented at the meeting by at least two cars of people. He said he will be attending if he can get a few others to go along.
