Day had an exceedingly 1 busy day on Saturday, when he offered i properties in various sections along the New Jersey coast. At noon he sold eight plots and one house for the estate of F. W. Wool i worth on the Esplanade and Woodford Road, Deal, for a total of $24,600. A large crowd was present and the bid? ding was spirited.

m. Mr. Day at Monmouth Beach sold fifty-seven plots and three houses to close the holdings of the Life Insurance Company of Virginia. One house was sold for $1,600, and a similar house adjoining for $1,400. The Niles house, on Ocean Avenue, was purchased by Charle? P.

Northrup for $8,600. Many prominent New York business men were bidders, among them being Lewis L. Clarke, president of the Amer? ican Exchange National Bank; Arthur Leaman, Max Marx, S. Guggenheim and Horce Kilborn, vice-president of National City Bank. Henry Clews Gets $40,000 For Bonnie Brae at Lenox Arthur C.

Sheridan sold at auction last Saturday on the premises at Lenox, the country estate of Henry Clews, banker, known as "Bonnie Brae," to John B. Haskin, of New York, for $40,000.
