He is not the only one who will be waiting anxiously for your reply when he asks you what you will give in this year's Red Feather Drive. A boy in Korea perhaps one of your own or your neighbor sons is depending on you to support the USO; a destitute mother and children, only a few blocks away, are looking to you for aid; one of your home town hospitals may have to curtail its services unless you give it a helping hand. That is the sort of thing you are doing when you contribute to the United Community Fund. How this drive comes out is going to affect your lives and ours.

Its success is going to make this a better, healthier, and happier community for all of us, for your son and mine, and for the boy and girl next door. How much should you give) That's up to you. But remember that this is not just one neighbor asking for your help. There are 25 separate appeals for 25 separate agencies to be taken care of in this one drive. (Divide the gift you are thinking of by 25 and then consider again whether it is big enough to carry your fair share of the load.) On page 2 of this paper you will find the story of this year's Red Feather Drive.

Read it over carefully. Then, we trust, you'll Care Enough to Give Enough for All 25. In Vicious Struggles In West, East; Americans Gain Near Yonclion. Are Stopped ISear Heartbreak Coleman, 2b 1 1 0 0 0 0 Collins, rf, lb. 5 11 0 0 0 Lopat, 0 0 0 0 0 Totals 39 13 12 2 1 2 WASHINGTON, Oct.
