PORTER Vincent J. Porter, 20, died at his home in Quincy on April 21, 1991. Bom in San Diego on March 25, 1971, he had been a Quincy resident for one year.

Arrangements under the direction of Fehrman Mortuary, Chester. EDNA R. WAGNER Edna R. Wagner, 84, died April 20, 1991 at CareWest in Susanville. Bom in Nebraska on Dec.

1906, she had been a Westwood resident since 1948. She is survived by her nephew, Dwayne Eckert of Sun Valley; and her brother, Albert Miller of Nebraska. Graveside services were held April 23 at Westwood Cemetery in Westwood. Bom in Genoa, on Jan. 11, 1904, she had been a Lake Almanor resident for two years.

She was a former organist for the Lake Almanor Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Horace Wilson of Lake Almanor; her son, James Wilson of Lake Almanor; her brother, Clarence Clang of Joplin, her sisters, Viola Weston of Shellknob, Mo. and Myrtle Davis of Fresno; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Chester District Cemetery in Chester. Obituaries MARY E.

WOLFORD Mary E. Wolford 66, died March 26, 1991 at Roseville Hospital in Roseville. Born in Hartford, on Oct. 17, 1924, she had been a Westwood resident since 198 IJp She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II, and a member of the Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church Altar Society.

She is survived by her husband, James Wolford of Westwood; her sons, David Pacatte of Berkeley, Benjamin Pacatte II, serving in the U.S. Army, and April 30 at Quincy East Lawn Cemetery, Father Martin Moroney officiating. ROBERT A. ISAAC Robert A. Isaac, 80, died in Reno, April 12, 1991.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, June 28, 1910, he had been a resident of Portola since 1940. He was a retired railroad conductor. He worked for Western Pacific railroad for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Frances of Portola; his brother, Lee Isaac of Goleta; and his sister, Margaret Edwards of Seattle, Wash. Graveside services were held April 16 at Shady Grove Cemetery, Portola; Rev.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 2. Burial was in the Westwood Cemetery, Westwood. DORRIS MAY LANCASTER Dorris May Lancaster, 68, died April 26, 1991 at Chico Community Hospital in Chico. Born June 17, 1922, in Brunswick, N.J., she had been a Quincy resident for 30 years, moving there from Portola, where she lived from 1948 to 1962.

She was a retired bookkeeper, formerly working for the Plumas Unified School District. She was actively involved with both junior and senior league bowling leagues, and was an avid bridge player. She is survived by her son, John C. Jr. of Anaheim; her daughters, Judy C.

Moore of Highland, and Jeanne C. Pennington of North Highlands; and four grandchildren. Graveside services were held We would like to thank everyone for their generosity and good wishes at the celebration of our marriage. A special thanks to the Elks Lodge for providing bar tenders and the use of the lodge. Also those who decorated the lodge and planned everything.

Kenny and Pete Pratt. WAYNE L. SCHUSTER Wayne L. Schuster, 75, died April 20, 1991 at Care West in Quincy. Bom in Mankato, on Dec.

9, 1915, he had been a Quincy resident for 35 years. He was employed by Quincy Motors as a salesman for 3 1 years, and was a 28-year member of the Quincy Elks Club. He is survived by his wife, Marion Schuster of Quincy; his sons, Wayne Schuster Jr. of Cody, Jerry Schuster of Wamsuttedy, and Ron Sari of Martinez; his stepdaughters, Candy Rollings of Sparks, Cindy Rhyne of Quincy, Chris Orband of Reno, and Cathy Walcutt of Ely, his brother, Phillip Schuster of Quincy; his sisters, Margaret Thompson and Marcelle Bennion of Casper, Norma Roemmich of Powell, Neva Lindley of Gardena, and Beverly Bennet and Belva Norwood, both of Cody, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services were held April 24 at Fehrman Mortuary in Quincy.

Burial followed at East Lawn Cemetery in Quincy. ALICE B. WILSON Alice B. Wilson, 87, died April 21, 1991, in Paradise. CHARLES M.

DEIRO Charles M. Deiro, 41, died April 17, 1991 at his home in Lake Almanor Peninsula. Bom in Yakima, on April 8, 1950, he had been a resident of Lake Almanor Peninsula for three years. Adoption center plans potential parent meeting The Independent AdoDtion JORDAN ALLEN JESTER Jordan Allen Jester was born to Billy and Barbara Jester of Fremont on March 15, 1991 at 9:21 p.m. The new arrival weighed eight pounds, six ounces and was 20-12 inches long. The new baby joins brothers Shawn, 13, David, 9, Michael, 4, and William, 2, at home. The northstate office of the Independent Adoption Center has scheduled a Saturday morning orientation on May 18 for couples who are interested in finding out more about infant adoption. The orientation will be held at the Independent Adoption Center office in Chico from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Center is a non-profit adoption counseling service which has experience in over 600 successful adoptions.

If you would like to attend the orientation or would like more information, please call the Independent Adoption center in Chico at 893-0403.
