Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Miss Margery M. Currier of Wilmington, and a brother, Philip L. Currier of Wilmington, also a first lieutenant during World War II, who was wounded in action with the Army Air Forces in the Southwest Pacific. Lieutenant Currier's father is assistant director of textile research with the American Viscose From Washington, he went? to Albany where he was retired as a full colonel. He helped organize thre All-Wilmington Baseball League in 1910, and for a number of years managed the Bancroft team in the league. Although his interest continued in all sports, in recent years Mr.

Booth had been most active in bowling circles, being president of the Bancroft Bowling League and continued to head the league even when a recent illness forced him to discontinue active participation in the sport. Mr. Booth had worked at the Bancroft plant since a youth, and recently celebrated his fiftieth year with the company. About 25 years ago he founded the Bancroft Fore William J. Booth, Jr.

ship in the Delaware National Guard. Played Varsity Football While a student at the University of Delaware, Colonel Carswell was a member of the varsity football team for four years. At the time of his death he was serving as chairman of the nominating committee of the University's Alumni Association, having been elected to that post last year. He was a member of the Delaware chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Colonel Carswell, whose father was a lieutenant commander in the Navy and later a Wilmington architect, was a younger brother of Col.
