He is Captain Francis C. Dohan, a native of Philadelphia and 1932 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Medical School. Captain Dohan takes over the important post after considerable time on overseas service with the African-Middle East Wing. At one time he served as group surgeon for the 14tCi Group the first transport unit to move up from South and Central Africa to the northern combat zones. The captain has been in the Army since 1942, when he was commissioned a first lieutenant.

On his return from overseas duty last February, Captain Dohan attended the Flight Surgeon's School at Randolph Field, then was assigned to the 2nd Ferrying -Group last June. He has been acting Flight Surgeon since that time. As Flight Surgeon he replaces Maj. Louis C. LeSieur who had held the post since January, 1943.

Two of his brothers, Private Leslie Gamble and Private Howard Gamble, also are serving with the Army in France. A brother, George Gamble, lives iii Philadelphia. Another brother, Harry Gamble, and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Newel live in Wilmington and the third sister, Mrs. Goldie Mounteny lives in Minqua-dale.

1943, Private Anderson lived in Brookland Terrace and was employed by the Delaware Floor Products Company. He attended Newark High School. He received training at Camp Wolters, and then enlisted in the paratroops and received training at Fort Benning, Ga. He injured his leg on his third practice jump and was returned to the Infantry at Fort Jackson, S. C.

He received the Good Conduct Medal, and won medals for marksmanship in rifle and pistol, and the expert medal for the machine gun. Private Anderson spent a furlough at home last Easter and then went overseas in May. The last let- Increase in consumption of fish is being urged by the office of distribution.
