The hair is drawn down straight and plain in the back and chopped straight across at the nape of the neck, while each side is fluffed in a becoming manner in front.

Capt. Allen D. Philips was injured Dec. 21 during the "battle of the Belgian bulge." when his jeep crashed with another vehicle and his leg was broken in 11 places. He was taken to a hospital in England and later returned on a hospital ship to this country.
