28. Mr. Czatynsii was the husband of Mrs. Eva Ann Czatynski and was born in the Ukrainian part of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire, coming to Wilmington about 40 years ago. At the time of his illness be retired as a crane operator from the Colorado Fuel Iron Company for whom he had worked more than 30 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael Bringle of the same address; two sons, John Czatynski, in Australia, and Stephen Czatynski, Elsmere; a brother, Michael Czatynski, Johnstown, a sister, Mrs. Mary Malhow-ski; a granddaughter, Miss Evelyn Bringle; a nephew, and an uncle, all of Wilmington. George Churay, 67, died Monday night In Chester, while riding on a bus during visit to relatives there. He worked for the i Ford Motor Company in Chester from 1941 until 1954 whence retired to this town. He-i survived by-his wife, Mrs. Mary Churay, and nine children, William of New York, Mrs. Caroline Ovecka of Philadelphia, Alfred of Galena, Frank of Wilmington, Mrs.

Mary Salter of Clayton, Mrs. Anne Stubbs of Church Hill. Mrs. Wilmia Hudson of Baltimore, Mrs. Frances Bunting of Bishop, and Mrs.

Dorothy Bostic of Church Hill. Requiem mass will be said Saturday at 10 a. m. in St. Dennis, Catholic Church, Galena, with interment in Galena Cemetery.

Gearing lived in Wilmington about 15 years. He had been In railroad work all of his life. Va. Edwin O. Scott Funeral services for Edwin O. Scott, 75, of Longwood, will be held Saturday at 2 p. m.

Scott died Tuesday in a Philadelphia store while on a shopping trip. He had been under treatment for a heart illness for two years. Born in Wilmington, he spent his early life on an Applcton, farm and later lived in the Chester area. He retired three years ago from the Ford Motor Company and moved to the Kennett Square area. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.

Eleanor Peterson Scott; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth McCor-mick, Avondale, and four brothers, John and Lawrence Scott, Wilmington; George Scott, Riegelsville, and Levis Scott, St Petersburg, Fla. John L. Hedges Funeral services for John Lee Hedges, 68, will be held Sunday at 8 p. m.

A passenger conductor on the Pennsylvania Raidroad who was retired on the roll of honor last July for outstanding service, he died yesterday afternoon in The Memorial Hospital after an illness of about a year.

Mr. Hedrjes had 40 years' service with the railroad and at the time of his retirement was a conductor on the local run between Wilmington and Philadelphia. A native of West Virginia, he had lived in the Wilmington area most of his life and at 107 Elizabeth Avenue, Roselle, for the past 30 years. He was a membtr of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and Locomotive Engineers. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Margaret Bethards Hedges; a daughter, Mrs. Charlottelee H. Berge, Roselle; two brothers, J. K. Hedges, Covina, and Everett Hedges, Vineland, N.

and a grandson, Donald Lee Berge. Mrs. Clara V. Braden Mrs. Clara V.

Braden, 81, wife of James Braden of 214 East Sixth Street, died this morning after a year's illness. She was born In Maryland but lived in this area many years and was a member of several organizations. In addition to her husband she is survived by a foster daughter, Mrs. Ella Carr; a stepson, C. C.

Braden, and a stepdaughter, Miss May R. Braden, all of Wilmington, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p. m. in the 3202 Market Street parlors of the McCrery Funeral Home, where friends may call Sunday after 7 p.
