Poetry Js Topic For Women's Study Club BY MRS. E. G. SWAN'SOX The March 19 meeting of the Dunnell Women's Study Club was I held at the home of Mrs. Verna: Munson.

Mrs. Gordon Elden's top- ic was poetry and she read poems in a lighter vein as well as ser- ious. William Cullen Bryant was! the first poet to have composed poetry in America and those po-' ems are still held in memory by many. She ended her reading by a poem on Lent. Mrs.

Lloyd Larson reported much interest about Handel giving his btcgrr.iphy and telling of 42 written before he mm- posed his famous Hallelujah Chorus which he was inspired to write in 25 years. There was a discussion the spring county convention at Sher- bum April 6. Members should notify Mrs. Roy Blowers of their intention of attending. Mrs. Lloyd Larson urged all singers to join ths county chorus.

The next meeting will be at Mrs. P.cy Samuelson's April 2 when e- lectior. of officers will be held. Mes lames P. H.
