HOLLYWOOD NOTES Kim Novak Looking for a Man To Comfort, Love and Cook For By VERNON SCOTT UPI Hollywood Correspondent HOLLYWOOD (UPI) Kim Novak, filmtown's reigning beauty, is the only charmer in Hollywood without a steady fella--and with no prospects in sight. She's blonde, smokey-eyed, successful and so beautiful most men are tongue-tied in her presence. Movie queens Irom Theda Bara to Marilyn Monroe through romances and marriages faster than editions could hit the streets.

Not Kim. Even her headline-making dates with Gen. Trujillo weren't romantic. And the shapely star is the first to admit it. "I think I've been in love in my life," Kim said introspectively, "but Ramfis wasn't the right man for me.

He came close to what I want in a husband--kind, considerate and intelligent but it wasn't love." Rarely Dates Kim rarely has dates. She attends parties alone, spends much of her lime in the solitude of her new home. "It's not a question of being mysterious," she smiled. "I believe it is better to be lonely by myself than to be lonely with someone I'm married to. "I want a husbind and family, someone to take care of.

Just think, a man to cook for and to comfort and love. But I couldn't give him just part of me. I'd want to jive him all of me--my heart and soul, my mind and my body." Unlike her sister actresses, Kim has no driving ambition to continue her career. She recently completed "Bell, Book and Candle" at Columbia. But she would drop acting altogether if "Mr.

Right" appeared. "Sometimes I feel like a necklace or ring in a store window waiting for someone to take me," she added wistfully. No Price Tag "And there's no price tag. "More than anything else I want to be a woman, and a woman isn't a woman without a man I have no preconceived notions of what he'll look like or how he'll behave. But I do know if I settle for loss than my dreams it would destroy me."
