Church, Delaware City, DE 19706. CREMATION Services of Delaware 429-8207 Obituaries Alfred F. King, ex-city police captain and traffic bureau chief Alfred F. King, 68, former head of the Wilmington Bureau of Police traffic division, died Friday in Wilmington after a long illness. Mr.

King, of 102 Washington Elsmere, retired from the Bureau of Police as a captain in 1959 after 22 years. He joined the force in 1937 and was promoted to captain in 1953, when he took over command of the traffic division. During his administration of the division, he organized the Parking Regulation Enforcement uhit, the city's first "meter maid" force whose purpose was to allow regular traffic policemen more time for other enforcement work and accident investigation. He also inaugurated the use of radar in traffic enforcement and the use of the Breathalyzer device by Wilmington police. Mr.

King was elected president of the Delaware Association of Chiefs of Police in 1958 and served a one-year term in that post. He was made an honorary captain of the Wilmington Civil Defense Police in 1959 in recognition of the close cooperation he had maintained between the Wilmington traffic unit and that organization. After his retirement from the Bureau of Police, Mr. King became office manager for the Eastern Shore Concrete Pipe Co. of Bear for 18 years, retiring in 1976.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lucy McLaughlin; two sons, Lorraine Mae Marker DELAWARE CITY Lorraine Mae Marker, 53, of Delaware City Mobile Park, died Sunday at the Delaware Division after a long illness. Mrs. Marker is survived by a son, Army Sgt. William W. Vaughn III of Edgewood Arsenal, a daughter, Candance M.

Havens of New Castle; two brothers, Nelson Fearins of Fort Myers, and Thomas Fearins of Claymont; a half brother, Benjamin Patton of Claymont; a sister, Marie Beatson of New Castle, and five grandchildren. Storm Evelyn R. Storm, 55, of 263 Locust Elsmere, died Sunday at the General Division after a short illness. Mrs. Storm was an assistant supervisor for the Wilmington Trust Co. in Wilmington for the past 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, John B. two sons, John B. III of Newark and Matthew, at home; six daughters, Gale Britz of Glendale Village, Susan Saggione of Pleasant Hills, Marybeth Mulligan of Pleasant Hills, Margaret DeBoda of Rolling Meadows, Sally Storm, at home, and Michele Temple of Woodland Trails; her mother, Frances H. George L. Magruder, 30, of Richland, formerly of Wilmington, died Friday at his home apparently after an epileptic seizure, according to the Benton County coroner's office. Mr. Magruder had been a geologist for Rockwell International Corp. in Richland since April.

He is survived by his parents, Lloyd B. and Beatrice Magruder of Wilmington; two sisters, Mary B. and Sarah Magruder, both of Cambridge, and a brother, Samuel of Newton, Mass. A memorial will be Wednesday morning, 9, at the service, Unitarian Church, Barnstable, Mass. Burial is private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Delaware Foundation for Physical Education, 272 Delaware Trust Building, Wilmington, 19801. Bernard E. Goodwin Bernard E. Goodwin, 58, of 209 Champlain Bellemoor, died Sunday in the Delaware Division after a long illness. Mr.

Goodwin worked on the assembly line at the General Motors Corp. plant on Boxwood Road for more than 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Macy two sons, Bernard L. of Wilmington and Gary at home; four daughters, Carolyn Kepka, Rita Johnson and Patricia Bickers, all of Wilmington, and Beverly Goodwin, at home; two brothers, Frank Falls Mills, and Frazier of Appomattox, two sisters, Virginia Payne and Hazel Lowary, both of Abbs Valley, and seven grandchildren. EVENING JOURNAL Monday, Aug. 31, 1981 C3 Jan Wade Dooling, 41, official of state camp, hike association Jan Wade Dooling, co-state director of the Delaware branch of the National Campers and Hikers Association, died Saturday at Milford Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at Calloway's Hitching Rail Campground near Milford. Mr.

Dooling, of 912 Quail Lane, Newark, was 41. Mr. Dooling was stricken while he and his wife, Phyllis who is also co-state director under the association's husband-wife team arrangement, were working on a storage trailer at the campground in preparation for the association's semiannual statewide camp-out, scheduled for the last weekend in September. She and her husband, Mrs. Dooling said, have directed the state association 1977.

Mr. Dooling had been a member of the association since 1968. George G. Lusardi George G. "Hutch" Lusardi, 66, of 97 Wilbur Newark, died Saturday in Union Hospital, Elkton, after a short illness.

Mr. Lusardi retired in 1977 from the maintenance department at the University of Delaware after 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Victoria two sons, George D. of Beach, Victor of Newark: two daughters, Regina McConnell of Elkton and Caroline Magaw of Newark; two brothers, Paul of Bridgeton, N.J., and Robert of Vineland, N.J.: a sister, Helen Williams of Bridgeton, 17 grandchildren and three dren. McKinley Sr. Charles J. "Chick" McKinley 74, of 1911 Shallcross Ave. died Saturday at the St. Francis Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. McKinley retired nine years ago as assistant purchasing agent for the former Joseph Bancroft Sons of Wilmington, now the Wilmington Finishing after 47 years. His wife, Helen died in 1976. He is survived by three sons, Charles J. Jr.

of Wilmington, Bernard of Brookhaven and Francis M. of Sycamore Gardens; a brother, Francis of Lancashire, and seven grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday morning at 9:30 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Gilpin Avenue and Union Street. Salem Lane, Wilmington, 19806. Jessie Peoples Hayes Jessie Peoples Hayes, 78, of 1412 Woodlawn died Sunday at General Division after a long illness. Mrs. Hayes, a secretary for the Du Pont Co. in the 1920s, graduated in 1922 from Beacom College.

She is survived by her husband, Frank a son, Frank O. Jr. of Atlanta, a daughter, Janet Hayes of Yorklyn; two brothers, John C. Peoples and Edgar D. Peoples, both of Wilmington, and two granddaughters.

Marie Cavalli Marie Cavalli, 73, of 15 Wordsworth Drive, Hyde Park, died Friday at the Delaware Division after a short illness.

Her husband, Romolo, died in 1967. She is survived by three daughters, Evangeline Meinhaldt, with whom she lived, Lydia DePaoli of Kennett Square, and Ruth Greer of Meadowood; a brother, E. John Bucci of Swanwyck; a sister, Alda Jean Gallo of Ridley Park, and four grandchildren. Services and burial will be private. The family asks that flowers be omitted.

Mildred A. Clark, 79, of 100-C Martin Lane, Monroe Park Apartments, died Saturday at the St. Francis Hospital after a short illness. Her husband, R. Carroll Clark died in 1966.

Mildred A. Clark Howard M. "Mike" Reineman 52, of 1347 Sycamore Elsmere Gardens, died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Elsmere, after a long illness. Mr. Reineman retired in 1971, due to disabling blindness, as manager of the retail photographic department at Gaylord's Discount Department Store at Prices Corner after several years there.

He is survived by wife, Alice a daughter, Patricia A. Schramm Madison, a son, John M. of Cavaliers Country Club Apartments; his mother, Mary with whom he lived; his father, Howard M. Sr. of Naples, a sister, Carroll V.

Eggleston of Georgetown, and a half brother, David L. Kaplan of Indianapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Elsmere. There will be no viewing. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
