Her husband, Edward, died in 1959. She is survived by two sisters, Linda Eberwein and Mabel Davis, both of Dover. Services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 at the Faries Funeral Home, 1250 S. Governors Dover, where friends may call an hour earlier.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. Shawn Michael Fritz Shawn Michael Fritz, an infant born on May 14, died June 5 in St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia of complications of heart, lung and stomach ailments. Numbers 94, of Millington, died Sunday in the Corsica Hills Nursing Center, Centreville, after having been ill for a year. Mr. Numbers was director of the Atlanta Speech School from 1957 to 1959. He was previously principal of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, Pittsburgh for 17 years, before he retired in 1953. From 1955 to 1957 he taught in the Clark School for the Deaf, Northampton, Mass.

He taught handicapped children in eight different states. His wife, Leona P. Numbers, died in 1964. Services will be Thursday morning at 11 in the Edward Fellows Son Funeral Home, Millington, where friends may call an hour earlier. Burial will be in Millington Cemetery.

Burial will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs, Pa. John L. Brittingham Jr. John L. "Jack" Brittingham 57, of 312 Market Lewes, died Tuesday from an aortic aneurism in Beebe Hospital, Lewes, where he was a patient for several days.

Mr. Brittingham retired several years ago as owner and operator of Jack's Market on Lewes Beach. He was a member of the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and also of American Legion Post 17 in Lewes. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Rose a brother, Franklin J.

of Lewes, and two sisters, Margaret B. Cooper of Bel Air, and Mary B. Taylor of Gloucester, N.J. Services will be Friday afternoon at 1 in the Bethel Methodist Church, Fourth Street, Lewes, where friends may call that morning from 11 to noon. Brittingham, 89, of near Willards, died Monday in the Peninsula General Hospital Medical Center, Salisbury, after suffering a stroke two days earlier.

Brittingham retired around 1970 as a self-employed farmer. He and his wife, Maggie who died in 1979, sang in area churches and on radio and television for many years. He is survived by two daughters, Mary F. Elliott of Seaford and Edna Lewis of Willards; eight grandchildren, and 11 gre great-grandchildren. Services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 in the Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington Millsboro, where friends may call tonight.

Burial will be in the Millsboro Cemetery. Harry Walls Harry Walls, 83, of near Magnolia, died Monday in his home from an apparent heart attack. Mr. Walls was security guard for Sears, Roebuck Co. in Philadelphia before retiring in 1965.

His wife, Mary, died last August; two daughters, Harriet Walls of Philadelphia and Margaret Leslie of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Elsie Short of Cumberland, two grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren. Fortenbacher, 63, of 363 Manlove Lane, Newport, died Sunday in St. Francis Hospital of heart failure, after being ill for a year. Her husband, Fred died in 1970. She is survived by a son, Fred Jr. of Wilmington; two daughters, Sandra Jo Trott of Newport and Ginger Halsey of Taylortown; a sister, Priscilla Laminson of Pittsburgh, and a grandchild.

Services will be this morning at' 11:30 at the Nichols Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis Newport, where friends may call after 10. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Newport. Essie Mae Miller Essie Mae Miller, 43, of 503 McCabe died Sunday in Riverside Hospital of complications from a series of strokes.

Mrs. Miller was a school crossing guard in the traffic division of the Wilmington police department for more than 10 years. She was a member of the Prayer Temple Holiness Church in Wilmington, where she sang in the choir and was on the Usher Board. She is survived by her husband, James Alfred Miller; two daughters, Vanessa Ann Ushery and Valerie A. Miller, and two sons, Christopher J.

and Vincent all of Wilmington; five sisters, Jeanette McNeill of Bridgeville, Pearlie M. Brooks of Greenville, N.C., Annette Spence of Maple Shade, N.J., Viola Cuffy of Selbyville, Clara Leonard of Berlin, and Margaret Hayes of Baltimore; two stepbrothers, Charles Robinson of Wilmington and James Leonard of Salisbury, and two grandchildren. Rosa Birtwell Rosa Birtwell, 92, of 915 Kenilworth Cherry Hill, Newark, died Monday at her residence of a stroke.

Mrs. Birtwell was born in Burnley, England, and moved to the United States in 1923. She lived most of her life in Salem, N.H., until nine years ago when she came to Newark to live with a greatnephew, George W. Bennett. husband, Richard, died in 1963.

Graveside services will be Thursday morning at 11 in Odd Fellows Cemetery, West Street, Laurel. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Newark Lions Club, in care of Ivan Parsons. 143 W. Main Newark, Del. 19711.

Louise C. Norman Louise C. Norman, 92, of 2185 E. Old Philadelphia Road, Elkton, died Monday of a heart attack in Union Hospital, Elkton, where she was a patient for several weeks. Her husband, Herman G.

Norman, died in 1949. She is survived by a son, Charles G. of Elkton, with whom she lived; 11 grandchildren, and 17 greatgrandchildren. Services and burial are private. Margaret Mae Everett Margaret Mae Everett, 86, of 639 Clymer New Castle, died Tuesday from a respiratory ailment in St.

Francis Hospital, where she was a patient for several months. She leaves no immediate survivors. Maclary, 64, of 206 Cheltenham Road, Oaklands, Newark, was dead on arrival Monday at the Newark Emergency Room after suffering a heart attack at her home.

Mrs. Maclary taught first grade at the H. J. Krebs School in Newport from 1937 to 1948 and later taught first grade in the Newark School District from 1955 to 1975, when she retired. She was a member of the Newark United Methodist Church.

She is survived her husband, A. S. "Doc" Maclary; two daughters, Susan M. Hux of Hickory, N.C., and Nancy M. Raihall of Milford; a sister, Jean Dill of Wilmington, and four grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday afternoon at 3 in the Robert T. Jones Son Funeral Home, 122 W. Main where friends may call an hour earlier. Burial will be in the Newark Cemtery. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Newark Free Library, Children's Division, 750 E.
