She spent a five-day leave with her mother and twin sister Miss Elsa Schmidt before returning to duty. She is a graduate of Wilmington High School, and was employed by the American Viscose Company, Delaware Trust Building.

C. before being transferred to Fort Benning. He attended Dickinson College, and for the past six years was employed in the advertising department of the E. I. DuPont de Nemours and Company.

MAJ. FRANCIS J. V. HAGOERTY is now stationed in the South Pacific as plans and training officer of an anti-aircraft brigade. He was formerly a battalion executive officer with the 198th Coast Artillery Regiment.

CapL Ervan F. Kushner of New Jersey, who was assigned to the 198th when It was at Camp Upton, N. has been transferred to the brigade as intelligence officer. SECOND LIEUT. PAUL M.
