People Conservative Mrs. Prince also expressed her conviction that the people of America are overwhelmingly conservative, when given the facts.

This, in her opinion, is one more reason for being confident of the election of a conservative candidate. She pointed out the fact that California has always voted down all "fancy Socialistic things" which have come up as initiative measures during the past several years. This, she said, is anpther reason for those women who believe the time has come 'for a return conservative thinking and to a conservative Federal administration. Substitute Brains "We aren't going to have the kind of money that can compete with the money being used for some candidates," said Mrs. Prince.

The office for the Los Angeles branch of California Women for Taft is at 5356 Wilshire Blvd. The telephone number is WE-S1153. Contributions may be sent to the office. This, Mrs. Eugene Prince of San Francisco, chairman of California Women for Taft, made clear in her short talk here yesterday.

With Adolphe Menjou, Mrs. Prince addressed 150 women gathered at the Neil McCarthy home in Beverly Hills. Mrs. Jack Bullis, vice-chairman of the local organization, presented the speakers and Mrs. Harrison Lobdell, chairman of the local group, received those attending.

Funds Needed Practical suggestions made by Mrs. Prince included the necessity for raising money for the campaign of their candidate, and for much preconvention work with delegates who will represent California art the Chicago convention. The speaker is convinced that there are "always delegates who haven't quite made up their minds." She would have the members of the organization get in touch with her. Also, Mrs. Prince would have those women who are eager for the election of Taft contact members of delegations from other States.

Several of these are not yet committed to any nominee, she said. Armed with facts as to Mr. Taft's knowledge Mrs. Pat O'Brien, chairman of women's activities for the Sav ings Bonds Division of the Treas ury will speak at Beverly Hiljs Party to Honor Daughter of Lou Costellos Mr. and Mrs.
