SC Dixie Group Draws Own 'Secession' Line The Kappa Alpha Fraternity of the University of Southern California yesterday brought a touch of the Old South to fraternity row along the 700 block of 28th St. About 55 young representatives of the Deep South assembled amid the din of bla-lng Dixieland music, "secession" speeches and one-horse cavalry charges to announce: "We're going to free this whole territory of northern carpetbaggers." The Kappa Alpha Fraternity has all Its chapters south of the Mason-Dixon Line. The "seces-. sion" move yesterday was 1 by Carl Verheyen, Jack Slaught and Dean Schneider.
