Farley, 74, of near Georgetown, died Sunday in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Elsmere, after a long illness. Mr. Farley retired as a coal miner in Flat Top, W.Va., in 1962 after about 25 years. He lived in Beckley, W.Va., until July 4, when he moved to Georgetown to live with his daughter, Karen K. Westbrook.

In addition to his daughter, he is survived by two brothers, Andrew Farley of Marydel and Clayton Farley of Ridgeway, and a grandchild. Graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 in Union Cemetery, Georgetown. There will be no viewing. Marie I.F. Lawler ARBUTUS, Md.

Marie I. Fureschi Lawler, 71, of Link Avenue, Arbutus, died Sunday at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Lawler was a district deputy of Catholic Daughters of America and a former president of the Ascension Sodality in Arbutus. She served as 13th legislative district elections judge and was one of the founders of the 13th District Health Center.

Over the years, she was foster parent to eight children who were wards of the state. Her husband, John died in 1962., She is survived by a son, John F. Jr. of Glenwood; three daughters, Joan B. Lawler of Lancaster, Marie R.

Stachowski of Newark, and Kathleen R. Robinson of Arbutus; and 11 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday morning at 10 at the Church of the Ascension, Halethorpe. Mrs. McNeill was a Christian Science practitioner at the First Church of Christ Scientist in Milford the last 10 years. A Christian Science practitioner attempts to rid people of sickness or evil through prayer.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon a son, G. Scott of Milford; and two daughters, Amy Lou Hurd of Alexandria, and Ada McNeill, at home. Memorial services will be Thursday morning at 10 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 219 S. Walnut Milford. There will be no viewing.
