This brings together representatives of the fire departments of towns in Western New Mexico, Northern Arizona, and Southwestern Colorado, largely volunteers. The public owes much to these men who cheerfully and loyally give time from their own occupations to protect the property of their fellow citizens from destruction by fire, often at the risk of their own lives.
