Wills of Indianapolis; three sisters, Norma Schnabel and Betty Kelly, both of Indianapolis, and Shirley Fteese of Edinburgh. He was employed for 10 years as a clerk at the Indiana Department of Revenue, retiring in 1988. A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Gross Cemetery in Indianapolis. FRANKLIN Wilmer Lome 'Slim' Zarse Wilmer Lome' "Slim" Zarse, 81, died Friday, July 9, 1999, at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Franklin and a former resident of Scottsburg.

He was born June 22, 1918, in Rensselaer. His parents were Robert and Ida (Daulberg) Zarse He married Merle E. Flake on Nov. 4, 1939, in Scottsburg. She preceded him in death Feb.

22, 1988. He married Goldie C. Whitham Land on Oct. 4, 1990, in Franklin. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Kathleen S. Shelton of Franklin; one son, Tommy L. Zarse of Franklin; three stepdaughters, Violet Pelser of Charlestown, Da Meyer of Atwater, 111., And Ethel Myer of Newport Beach, one half sister, Rachel Cravens of Scottsburg; one half brother1, Paul Cravens of Scottsburg; two grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; and six step-grandsons. He was preceded in death by two brothers. He was a trackman for Conrail Railroad in Louisville, for 38 years, retiring in 1979..

He was a member of Greenwood American Legion Post 252. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany. William A. Shepherd will conduct a service at 2 p.m.

Wade of Franklin; three sisters, Myrtle Hazelwood and Vivian Hobdy, both of Indianapolis, and Martha Jenkins of Louisville, one brother, Ronald Wade of Beech Grove; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Verna Sutt, Ruth Hobdy and Gerri Baily; and one brother, Henry D. Wade He was employed at Plant One on the block line at Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus, retiring in 1987 after 20 years of service He was a member of the Diesel Workers Union and Edinburgh Full Gospel Church.

He served as a deacon in the church and also enjoyed woodworking and small-engine repair. The Rev. Douglas Smith will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Edinburgh Full Gospel Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. FRANKLIN Kenneth Lewis Willis Kenneth Lewis Willis, 79, died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Franklin and a former resident of Florida.

He was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. Sunday, July 11, 1999, at his residence in Greenwood. He was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Fayette County, Pa. His parents were Norman F.

Shipley Sr. and Edith Shipley. Survivors include his companion, Betty Mayhugh of Greenwood. He retired from the maintenance department at Hugh J. Baker Co.

in Indianapolis. He was a member of the St. Francis Senior Prom. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include one daughter, Sheila Devore of Greenwood; one sister, Elsie Lytle of Indianapolis; two brothers, James E. Smith of Indianapolis and Johnny Smith of Detroit, one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ethel Stitley; and one brother, Charles R. Smith. She was employed by Target at County Line Mall as a cashier for 10 years, retiring In 1997.

She was employed for 20 years by Sherman Carburetors of Indianapolis as a machine operator, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church Monsignor Harold O. He married Brenda Long on Sept. 25, 1966, in Greenwood. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Warren Mason of Whiteland, Kyle Mason of Martinsville and Andy Mason of Greenwood; three sisters, Carlin Chapman of Indianapolis, Wilma Couch of Brooklyn and Barbara Bales of Illinois; and three granddaughters. He attended Greenwood High School.

He was employed for six years by Greenwood Marble and Tile as a tile setter, Previously he worked for 16 years at Allen Clay Tile Products. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a U.S. Army veteran. The Rev.

He was born April 6, 1936, in Shelby County. His father was Myrl G. Myers. His mother is Evelyn (Pitcher) Myers Pullen of Franklin. He married Helen Pope Myers in November 1978 in Franklin.

She survives.
