THE MORNING NEWS, WILMINGTON, TUESDAY, AUGUST 16, 1904. Munyon Talks to Women How They May Have Beautiful Complexion and Grow Luxuriant Hair. Munyon's Witch Hazel Soap is really a skin food and vitalizer. The only soap containing witch hazel, It nourishes the skin just as much 48 food nourishes the body. It puts every pore into a healthy condition; assists Nature in throwing off poisons from the body; allays inflammation, cools, soothes and heals all irritatated parts, LE cures chapped hands anti lips and all forms of chafing, No soap, no lotion, no wash ever made will so quiekly quiet a baby suffering with prickly heat or any form of rash as Munyon's Witch Hazel Soap.

For the general toilet it is an exquieite luxury, it impnaves any complexfort and makes the skin soft as velvet. you are Constipated, bilious, or if your blood is out of order don't fail to my Paw Laxative Pills, which to be the best liver pills ever MUNYON. GAS AGREEMENT Compromise in Suit of Receiver Pepper Against Bay State Company. BOSTON, Aug. compromise settlement tin the suit of Receiver George W.

Pepper, of the Bay State Gas Company of Delaware, to enjoin the sale of the various gas companies operating in Boston under a merger plan, has been reached out of court. Ittis understood that there will be no further litigation on this phose of the ease. Suits growing out of this, action, however, against H. H. Rogers, Theras W.

Lawson, and J. Edward Addicks still bold, but the Massachusetts Gas Companies is taken out of the field and given absolute possession and title to all the exIsting Boston gas companies. What Disgusts. To the Editor of "The Morning Governor Huan, much to his credit, announces that he will not be candidate for re-election. Good for Hunn.

Re shows His sense. Mr. Addicks also announees that Mr. Henry C. Conrad is the for whom all Republicans shall vote for governor, and that "this is final!" Well, we shall see.

I think I remember, away back in 1896. that Mr. Addicks sent a telegram from St. Louis saying that his delegation would surely be admitted to seats in the Republican NaFional Convention of that year, and ending his despatch with "this is final!" It was Anal, and Mr. Addicks and his delegation went home by the next train.

I think it is likely to be so this time. I do not think that the people are yet quite ready to let any man, high or lowmoney or no money- dictate what shall or shall not he done in publie affairs, on the commercial idea alone. For one, I am not willing. I have a little volume of letters from Horace Greeley, to his business partner. Charles A.

Dana, written in 1855, when Greeley was in the House of Representatives, in which Greeley says, with reference to a certain employe of the Tritune in Washington: would dot SO much mind being a gentus it he wasn't fool." So it is to-day; and 80 perhaps, it always will be, but we can all rote the other way if we wish to and thus settle somebody. This infernal Impudence is what disgusts. W. Hastings. COR. NINTH and WEST. on Ninth street. No. 18 WASH DAY AT CAMP Sunday Visitors Departed and the Tenters Had a Quiet Time With Fine Weather.

WELL-ATRENDED SERVICES From Stall Correspondent. BRANDYWINE SUMMIT, Pa. August 15. Day," was quietly observed at Brandywine Summit camp to-day, and the grounds appeared deserted after the exodus of the Sunday visitors. Those who remained over last night left this morning, and the tenters spent a day of quiet.

The weather was again fine, and 50 tar it has been all that could be desired. Considering the fact that it was Monday the religious services to-day were well attended, and this was especially the case of the lovefeast at 8.30 o'clock this morning. This meeting was in charge of Miss M. Stewart, the woman evangelist, assisted by the Rev. R.

H. Adams, D. D. This service was in the nature of a holiness meeting, and the attendance was remarkable in view of the fact that it was day. The service lasted throughout the morning and the usualy morning sermon was dispensed with.

Aubrey Vandever conducted a successful children's meeting at 1.30 o'clock this afternoon, and the alternoon sermon was preached by the Rev. L. I. Me McDougal of Kingswood Church, Wilmington. It was the frat appearance of Mr.

McDougal at Brandywine Summit camp, and be expressed himself as being much pleased with it. Mr. McDougal took as his text: "Lovest Thou Me More Than John 15. The Rev. Vincent Nichols of Chester Heights participated in this service.

Following the sermon there was an altar service which was conducted by Mrs. Alice Welser Davis, There was the usual song service at 7 o'clock this evening. and at 7.30 o'clock the evening sermon was preached by the Rev. Robert Watt, D. of Smyrna.

This service was largely attended as the number of visitors to camp this evening was considerable. The Rev. G. R. Tompkins will have charge of the pentecostal service at 8.30 o'clock this morning.

The Rev. C. T. Wyatt of Middletown, will preach the morning sermon. Presiding Elder A.

S. Mowbrey will preach in the afternoon and the Rev. W. T. Hammond in the evening.

Talk of a. trolley line to the camp greunds has been revived by the surveys made by Superintendent H. H. Archer of the West Chester Rallway Company, and the trustees and tenters alike spend a considerable portion of their time in of the subject. According to Samuel H.

Bagnard, the propesed new tabernacle depends on the trolley line, for in discussing the matter this afternoon he said: "If the trolley comes to camp there will be a new one, but if it does at. the present one will be extensively impromed." The Rev. Dr. Wait believes that a trelley line would resalt in the camp booming to a wonderful extent, and be also believes that in such event the grounds would be occupied the whole of the summer months. The trustees and George Lesly, the traveling tintyper, are still at odds, and because Lesly, after being ordered to leave the camp grounds persisted in moving his tent just outside of the entrance and opening up the business, a warrant bag been issued for the arrest of Lesly, but it had not been served to-night.

Lesly says he will leave for Twin Oaks camp on Saturday. In a statement this afternoon he says his receipts for yesterday were but $2 and that $1.75 of this amount was realized before he was ordered to close. As the result of action taken by the executive committee of the board of trustees last week, the road leading into the grounds on the south has been changed in front of the store to the rear of the building in order that tenters might not be annoyed by teams. The bas ball grounds will also be removed for the same reason. Indications hold good for a record breaking attendance next Sunday, and the trustees say the attendance yesterday was the biggest for the first Sunday in the history of the camp.

It was also the most successful one, for there was no disorder of any kind. Mrs. John Reed of Wilmington, who was injured as the result of a runaway last night was reported to be much 1m- proved to-day though she still suffers considerable pain. Following the accident More, Reed was taken to the tent of William McLane, end when Mies Florence McLane witnessed her injuries she fainted and was unconscious for one-half an hour. Extensive preparations are being made for the Young People's rally which will be held on Thursday, and a big attendance is expected on that day.

Dr. John Heston Willey of Brooklyn, the well known minister, will address the young people at 10.30 o'clock in the morning. Dr. F. F.

Carpenter of Mt. Salem Church, will make the afternoon address at 3 o'clock, while Rev. R. K. Stephenson, D.

will preach at 7.30 o'elock in the evening. Mrs. Thomas Benson will be in charge of an augmented choir of young people, and Miss Preston whose solos are winning great praise end Mrs. Munford, the noted soloist of Philadelphia, will render vocal selections. The Epworth League of Brandywine Church, which has charge of the Union bearding tables cordialy invites all to make their tents while at the grounds.

Everything will be done for the comfort of visiting leaguers. University of Pennsylvania dental students who are staying at camp have organized a base ball team and will play the Brandywine Summit club on Wednesday. The U. of P. lineup follows: Rommell, 1b; Lenderman, s8; Crouch and Moreland, Drayton, Simpson, 2b; Dayett, If; Winper.
