She was the co-owner and manager of Fountaintown Grocery in the 1970s and 1980s. She was a graduate o( St. Mary Academy in Indianapolis. Survivors include her sons, Kevin, Dennis, Terence, Anthony and Timothy Hanley; daughters -r 7am.mnm 3333 S.St. Rd.

Andis Virgil D. Andis, 94, of Morristown died April 15, 2005, at Select Specialty Hospital in Beech Grove. Born March 22, 1911, in Carthage, he was the son of George M. and Ida Belle (Neuman) Andis. He had been a farmer for most of his life and had retired from Ford Motor Co.

in 1976. He was a member of Morristown Christian Church and a former member of the Oddfellows Lodge. Survivors include his son, Stephen Andis of Morristown; daughters Madonna Willard of Morristown, Kay Boring of New Palestine and Brenda Kaffaber of Bloomington; sister Helen Copple of Fountaintown; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death on June 20, 1990, by his wife, Lillian S. (Wade) Andis, whom he married Sept.

12, 1936; daughter Deanna Appleby; three brothers; three sisters; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Frazier Funeral Home in Morristown. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m.

Born Sept. 21, 1921, in Anderson, she was the daughter of David and Leola Gahimer. She taught piano lessons in her home and was a member of Fortville First United Methodist Church, where she served as choir director and director of music for more than 45 years. She started a hand bell choir at the church and was active in the church's United Methodist Women's group. She received awards for her community service at Fletcher Place Community Center, Central Avenue, Brightwood, Goodwill Industries (Volunteer of the Year), Metro Missions for Church Extension and Urban Missions, and Delta Zeta sorority (Order of the Golden Rose).

She was a 1939 graduate of Anderson High School and a 1943 graduate of DePauw University. Survivors include her sons, Kit Arnold of Fortville and Don Arnold of Fort Mitchell, daughters Lochia Farrar of Murfreesboro, and Lora Kay Wedgeworth of Fortville; sister Lora Koomanoff of Garrett Park, 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack M. Arnold, whom she married in 1943, and sister Beulah Mitchell. Services will be at 1 p.m.
