Las Vegas '0 "ifiifin'T-'-ri ii-j------- mmm Frankie Valli, Four Seasons to open Thursday at Bally's Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will perform at Bally's Thursday through Aug. 3. Valli, known for his falsetto lead, started out singing with his friends on the street corners in Newark, N.J. Eventually they formed a group called The Four Lovers. When their first record, "Bermuda," bombed in 1956, they changed their name to The Four Seasons.

The second song they recorded, "Sherry," went to No. 1 on the charts and sold more than a million December 1963), "Let's Hang On" and "Working My Way Back To You." "I love singing with the group because I love singing harmony, but it's wonderful to be able to sing solo as well and be able to do other kinds of material than The Four Seasons would do," Valli said. "If everything I sang had to be falsetto, it would be extremely boring." Consequently, Valli has also recorded such solo hits as "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "Swearin' To God" and "My Eyes Adored You." Comedian Pat Bullard will open for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Tickets are $33 including tax for the 9 p.m. shows.
