TJIK Cambridge 'City Base Ball Club went to Hageratown, lust Tuesday; to play a game of ball with the dub of that pluce. Of course, our boys expected to play only nine men, which is tho' usual number; but the game had been in progress hut a short lime, when it -became, evident that they had to play against both the club and umpire. They stood the outrageous decisions until the seventh when Drischel and Cunningham rightly refused to play further unless there was a change of umpire. This the Hagerstown club refused, stating as a reason, that: they had no ono else that could fill the position. It may be that they had no ouc that could fill tbe position as satisfactorily to the club; -but any child could give better, satisfaction to the crowd and visitors, too.
