He was formerly associated with an older brother, the late Frederick William Kellogg, in Kellogg Newspapers, Inc. The organization, which owned a group of Los Angeles County newspapers, was sold to the late Ira C. Copley in 1928. A native of Norwalk, he came to California 39 years ago. He moved to La Jolla 11 years ago to live with his brother, who died in 1940, and a nephew, William Scripps Kellogg, president and general manager of the Beach and Tennis Club.
