Bidwell was the widow of the late Arthur H. Bidwell who passed away on May 29, 1989. Born on October 13, 1925 in West Grove, PA she was the daughter of the late William K. and Silvia Jane Hastings Lamborn. She has resided in the Lincoln University area all her life.

She was a member of the Union Fire Company of Oxford, PA and a member of the Soroptimist Club of Oxford. Mrs. Lamborn was cafeteria manager at the Oxford Area High school, from September 1958 to June She is survived by 2 brothers, Fred A. Lamborn of Little Britain, PA and Frank S. Lamborn of Elkton, MD; and a sister, Vivian D.

Whiteside of Oxford, PA. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive her. Her funeral service will be on Friday, December 3 at 11 a.m. TEN from THE FUNERAL HOME, 224 Penn Avenue, Oxford, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 a.m.

Interment will be in the Oxford Cemetery. Dorothy Bronson "Mom Dot" Age 65, died November 23, 1999 in Christiana Hospital. Age 68, of Townsend, passed away Monday morning, November 29, 1999 at his son's home in New Castle. Mr. Combs was born December 10, 1930 in Harrisonburg, VA to Margaret A. (Layman) the late Robert C. Combs, Sr.

He later relocated to Delaware and worked as an electrician with I.B.E.W. Local 313 for 43 years, retiring in 1993. He maintained his membership with Local 313, celebrating 49 years. His wife of 42 years, Mamie T. (Nepa) Combs passed away January 2, 1994.

He was also predeceased by his brother, James E. Combs (April 9, and his sister, Violet G. Evick (Dec. 13, 1986). Mr.

Combs is survived by his son daughter-in-law, Robert Ill Deborah Combs, with whom he was living; his daughters son-inlaw, Margaret Ann Larry Merchant of Liepsic Donna M. Harrington of Denver, CO; his mother, Margaret A. Combs of Garden CA and his sister, Linda Starbird, also of Garden Grove, CA. Also surviving are his 9 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the CHARLES P.

Eugene Aaron Cox 63, husband of Barbara Mullings Cox, died in a Charleston, SC hospital on November 28, 1999. Mr. Cox was born August 11, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Archie Cox Hazel Clay Cox McGlasson. He was a retired training consultant with DuPont. He was a graduate of Oklahoma University.

Mr. Cox was a member and an Elder with Metro North Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will be held in Metro North Presbyterian Church, Saturday morning, December 4 at 11 a.m. Surviving are his wife of Hanauan, SC; his mother of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 sons, Danny Wayne Cox of Ladson, SC Jeffrey Cox of Charleston, SC; 1 daughter, Toni C. of Summerville, SC; 1 brother, C.

Leonard Cox of Yukon, OK; and 5 grandchildren. Marianne (Buzzy) Baldt Czaikowski Age 83, of Foulkside, died Tuesday November 30, 1999 in Forwood Manor. "She was a 50-year member of Hanover Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Czaikowski, graduated from the University of Delaware in 1936.

She retired from the Employee Relations Dept. at DuPont. She was a lifetime bowler and a member of the 600 Club. Her husband, John Czaikowski, died in 1984. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 10 a.m.

Biden was a retired car salesman from Colonial Chevrolet. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Lewes, DE and a volunteer at the A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital. He loved his home in Rehoboth.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Evelyn Kirk Biden; 1 son, Jeffrey G. of Wilmington; 2 step children by his second wife, the late Virginia Biden; Virginia Vogel and Ronald Graff; 1. brother, Joseph R. Biden, Sr. of Wilmington.

Frankosky Of Hockessin, age 59, died on Friday November 26, 1999. pie was originally from Wyoming, and after graduating from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and receiving a Ph.D. from Penn State University, moved to Delaware where he worked for the DuPont Company in product development until his retirement in 1996. He was an avid whitewater kayaker, runner and photographer, and a member of the Wilmington Trail Club. His avocation since retirement was computer enhanced photography, especially of his grandchildren.

She also enjoyed Embroidery. Wife of the late Frank Fuhrer, Geraldine is survived by 1 sister, Myra Robertson of Newark, DE; and several nieces and nephews. Francis J. "Iggy" Guyer Age 57, of Wilmington, died Tuesday at home. Mr. Guyer was a machinist for Delsteel in WilmingHe being with his family, ton, retiring, in 1990 after 23 years. traveling and Notre Dame Football.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carol E. Guyer; 1 daughter, Vicki L. Wilkinson of Wilmington; 2 sons, John Guyer of and Scott Guyer of New Castle; 3 brothers, Lawrence of New Castle, Richard of Havclock, NC and Thomas of Dover; and 5 grandsons. He was preceded in death by his brother, James and 2 sisters, Barbara and Janice. A celebration of his life will be offered on Friday, December 3 at 1 p.m.

Minnie Haldas Matriarch of the Haldas family, passed away on November 29, 1999 after a short illness. Born on the island of Cephalonia in Greece on March 16, 1910, she came to the United States as a young girl with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Chilimidos. met and married Robert Haldas, one of the founders of Haldas Brothers on King Street.

Together they raised 3 generations of children that loved, honored and respected them. She is survived by her children, Evelyn Govatos, Daniel Haldas, her twin sons, Nicholas and Harry Haldas, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her brother, Jerry Chilimidos and sisters, Mary Pappas and Stella Markatos, all of Wilmington. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 1 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 808 N. Broom Street where friends may call at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Halloran was a supervisor for Bell Telephone for 42 years before her retirement in 1988. She was a member of Christ Our King Church, the Bell Atlantic Pioneers, and the Delaware Humane Society. Her husband of 50 years, Frank died in 1992. Mrs.

Halloran is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Frank Conaway, with whom she lived; 2 sisters, Alma Stout and Mariam Denman, both of Wilmington; 3 grandchildren, Conaway, Tim A. Conaway and Michelle C. Mash; and 2 great grandchildren, Alexandra Rose and Marissa Claire Mash. He was also the last president of the Board of Trustees of the New Castle County Workhouse in Delaware and turned over its keys to then Governor Caleb Boggs for the establishment of the State Correctional Institution in July, 1956. He is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Lyne of Brookline, MA and Betsy Caldwell of Lookout Mountain, TN; 4, grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 4th at the Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church cemetery at 11 a.m. in Wilmington, DE with Reverend Rodney Welles officiating. She was a charter member of the Heritage Circle at the University at Albany and served as Past President of the Parent Education group of North Junior High School in Niagara Falls. In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by her son, James C. Lemke of Niagara Falls; her daughter, Mary L.

Garrison J. Rupert Age 66, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at his home on Satur- day, November 27th. Mr. Rupert worked electrician with the Local I.B.E.W. for 35 years.

He served in the United States Army, during the 1950's. He was a social member of the Brandywine Club in Claymont, DE. Mr. Rupert is survived by his wife of 30 years, Betty Harada Rupert. He is also survived by his son, Captain Gregory J.

GEBHART FUNERAL HOMES OF NEW CASTLE COUNTY Matilda Del Grosso Samluk Age 77 years, lost her battle with ovarian cancer and died at her home on Tuesday November 30, 1999. She was a lifetime member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and its organist for 59 years. For her dedication to the church, Mrs.

Samluk was honored as St. Anthony's Parish "Woman of the Year" in 1987. Graduating from Wilmington High School in 1940, Mrs. Samluk is credited for composing her class song, as well as other compositions. Until recently, she had been an active member of her class reunion committee, something she enjoyed very much.

Mrs. Samluk was a member of the American Guild of Organists and a frequent guest organist at other parishes. She was also certified to teach piano, and she did for many years. Her music career spans many years of prestigious studies, awards and certifications. Some of her former students have become concert artists.

Mrs. Samluk us, is survived by her husband of years, Jesse W. Samluk; her daughter, Rosanne Brandau; and son, John J. Samluk. Surviving grandchildren are Jessica Kilmon, Marissa, Christina and Jesse P.

Samluk. Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th DuPont Wilmington on Thursday, December 2 from 6-9 p.m. and on Friday, December 3 from 11-12 noon proceeding the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment will be at Cathedral Cemetery, Lancaster Wilmington, DE.
