MILLARD E. "CANNONBALL" DAWSON 68, of 18 Harbeson Place, Stanton Crest, died Sunday of an apparent heart attack at home. Mr. Dawson, an electrician with Local 313, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, for 47 years, retired in 1983. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Calvary United Presbyterian Church, Richardson Park.

He was a member of Washington Lodge 1, Wilmington, and the Delaware Consistory. His wife, Lora died in 1987. He is survived by two sons, Millard E. Ill of Newark and Benjamin A. of Wilmington; a daughter, Beatrice J.

She was a waitress at the Glass Kitchen, Glasgow, for 18 years. She was a 1945 graduate of Oxford High School and attended Rudemar Beauty Culture School, Philadelphia.

She attended Oxford Friends Meeting and was a member of Southern Chester County Medical Center ladies auxiliary and a former member of Contemporary Club, Oxford. Her husband, Edward died in" 1982.
