Blaustein, chairman and chief executive officer of Baltimore's American Trading and Production and one of Maryland's richest men, died Monday at a hospital in Richmond, after choking on his food during dinner at a hotel there. Mr.

Blaustein, 64, had been attending a meeting in Richmond of the directors of Signet Bank. Maria, Robert Y. Kane Jr. of Hillsboro, and John A. Kane of Ridgely; three daughters, Mary Anna Reynolds of Temple Hills, Florence J.

Hawkins of Federals-burg, and Margaret E. Arrington of Bridgeville, a brother, Harold D. Kane of Williamstown, N.J.; three sisters, Marge Wilson and Florence Albright, both of Philadelphia, and Till Quinton of Annapolis; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Moore Funeral Home, 12 S.

Second Denton, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Annapolis. JOHN ARTHUR "JACK" KENNEDY III, 71, of Upland Avenue, Dover, died Wednesday of respiratory failure in Union Hospital, Elkton, where he was a patient.

at Young's Funeral Home, 308 Front Seaford. Burial will be in Cokesbury (Md.) Cemetery. ROBERT F. GREGOR, 77, of New Castle, died Tuesday of complications from a stroke in Christiana Hospital, where he was a patient. Mr.

Gregor had been a lab technician at the Du Pont Co. Chambers Works in Deepwater, N.J. He retired in 1975 after 40 years. He was a social member of Diamond State Post 2863, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wilmington. He was an avid bowler.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy E.T.; a son, Robert J. of Rising Sun, two stepsons, Wayne T. Johnson of Newark and William H. Johnson of New Castle; two daughters, Veronica A. Haas of Waco, Texas, Mary Margaret Gregor of Wilmington; a stepdaughter, Barbara Ann Hurley of Morgantown, W.Va.; three sisters, Blanche McCollum of Richardson Park, Jeanette McCrea of Laurel, and Irene A.

Kowalski of New Castle; 12 grandchildren and two Highway, Minquadale. WILSON SERVICES: Services for SHAWANDA WILSON, 5, of 152 E. 18, Moore Funeral Home. tein had been chief executive officer since the death of his father in 1970. Mr. Blaustein was among nine Marylanders who made the Forbes magazine list of the 400 richest Americans for 1990. He was worth $700 million, according to Forbes.

He had been chairman of the executive council and a vice president of the American Jewish Committee. The Baltimore native chaired the board of overseers of the department of geology at Stanford University and was a member of the boards of Park School and Johns Hopkins University. He was a graduate of all three schools, earning his bachelor's degree at Hopkins and a master's and doctorate in petroleum geology at Stanford. Mr. Blaustein is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; two daughters, Susan Berlow of Manila, Philippines, and Jeanne Bokor of New York; a stepdaughter, Sandra Carter and a stepson, Taylor Lucas, both of Baltimore; two sisters, Barbara Hirschhorn of Pikesville, and Elizabeth Roswell of Bridgewater, N.J.; and two stepgrandchildren.

He joined the Signet board when it took over Union Trust in which his company was a large investor. American Trading and MR. BLAUSTEIN Production owns oil tankers, oil and gas properties, communications, security and office products, manufacturing companies and real estate, including the Blaustein and W.R. Grace buildings in Baltimore. Associated with the company for more than 36 years, Mr.

Blaus- Booth, Anna M. 82, of 29 Cherry Road, Oak Run, Ed Parker, 59, owned chain of karate schools 'Nick' Harkins, Newark-area builder Mr. Kennedy had been a millwright at General Foods Corp. in Dover. He retired in 1982 after 17 years.

An Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of Granger Adkins Cubbage Post 1207, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dover. He is survived by his wife, Mary C. of Dover; two sons, John A. IV of Wyoming and Jeffrey D. of Dover; two daughters, Linda K.

Kouse of Felton and Michele D. Palmisano of Griffin, a stepsister, Margaret Ann Kelly of Louisville, and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Dover, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Kirkwood Highway. WILLIAM EARL JACKSON, 75, of Riverdale Road, Millsboro, died Wednesday of cancer at home. Mr. Jackson had been a truck driver most of his life and last worked at Chesapeake Foods, Berlin, Md. He retired in 1977.

He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary four sons, Earl Ian Myron L. and Wyatt a daughter, Earlyn Y. Jackson, and a brother, Layman, all of Millsboro; two sisters, Deliah Norwood Ignatius J. "Nick" Harkins III, a builder and real estate agency owner, died Wednesday of heart moved to California, where he became one of the first to teach karate on the mainland.

For 27 years Mr. Parker staged an annual karate tournament in Long Beach, Calif. At the 1964 tournament he introduced Bruce Lee, who later became an international star of martial arts films. Associated Press HONOLULU Ed Parker, a former bodyguard for Elvis Presley and owner of an international chain of karate schools, died Saturday of a heart attack. He was 59.

Mr. Parker, a native of Hawaii, earned a black belt in karate and tailure in Christiana Hospital after becoming ill al home. He was 54. Mr. Harkins, of U.S.

13, Odessa, owned I.J. Harkins Realty Inc. for of Rollings Meadows and Newark Oaks. He was past president and life director of Home Builders Association of Delaware. He was past chairman of Delaware Real Estate Commission.

He was listed in Who's Who in the East. When he was 15, he was an Eagle Scout at Post 65 in Els-mere. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, I. John IV of Newark; two daughters, Lois Ann Spoor and Patricia Ann Uetz, both of Newark; two stepdaughters, Heidi R. Vensel and Amy L.

Vensel, both at home; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McCrery Memorial Chapel, Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Road, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Old Drawyers Cemetery, Odessa.

MR. HARKINS 31 years. He operated Chestnut Hill Builders Inc. of Newark for 20 years. Before that, he was associated with Todd Construction Co.

He specialized in building custom and tract homes. He had developed many units throughout the Newark area, said his wife, Roseann, the Village of Tahoe, Pencader Village, White Chapel, Glasgow Pines, Highlands We could use a new I Dining Room Set for Christmas. Seaford Fire Company. Newark, died Wednesday in Christiana Hospital after an apparent heart attack at home. Mr. Robinson owned and operated a trucking company, retiring in 1973 after 22 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and enjoyed traveling.

His wife, M. Naomi Williams Robinson, died in 1988. He is survived by three sons, Bayard S. Jr. of Oxford, and Gary A.

and Guy both of Newark; two daughters, Sandra L. Brooks of Newark and Constance A. Bailey of Bear; two brothers, Norval of Milford and Douglas P. of Newark; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m.

ROBERT YOUNG KANE 70, of Maple Avenue Extended, Ridgely, died Tuesday of heart failure in Memorial Hospital, Easton, after being stricken at home. Mr. Kane retired in 1975 as a sales manager at the Seven-Up plant in Denton.

He was a member of Ridgely Fire Company and was town commissioner in Ridgely for three years in the mid-1980s. His wife, Dolores died in 1973. He is survived by three sons, Norman G. Lawrence of Santa William Shrouds, owned lawn mower business Masked gunman flees with cash NORTH EAST, Md. A man wearing a full camouflage outfit, including a mask, robbed a convenience store at gun point Tuesday night, police said.

State police said the masked man walked into the High's of Baltimore store, on Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40) near North East, about 10:40 p.m. and showed the clerk a large, black revolver. The bandit demanded money, took an undisclosed amount and ran out of the store and east on U.S. 40.

No shots were fired, and no one was hurt. Ann Stewart FREDERICK M. CAIN, 73, of Railroad Avenue, Felton, died Wednesday of respiratory failure in Milford Memorial Hospital, where he was a patient. Mr. Cain had retired as a truck driver from Wolf Distributors in Dover.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Elsie, is deceased. He is survived by a son, Paul S. of fielton; and four daughters, Mary Jayed and Doris Ann Baker, both of Felton, and Frances Scott and Patricia Moore, both of Wyoming; two sisters, Mary Warrington and Laura Baker, both of Harrington; grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren; and a longtime companion, Mildred Chapman. Services will be at 1 p.m.

Mrs. DeChec had been. a home-maker. She is survived by her husband, John a daughter, Dolores Blaier of Bellevue Manor; three brothers, Joseph R. Bowden and Raymond Bowden, both of Par-sonsburg, and Larry Bowden of Millsboro; three sisters, Mary Lewandowski of Frankford, Ruth Pillsbury of Parsonsburg and Patricia Clendaniel of Lincoln; four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Doughty was a retired domestic worker. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church, Seaford, and Federation of the Blind, Georgetown. Her husband, Wilbert is deceased. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Thompson and Per-entis Doughty, both of Seaford; two daughters, Joanne Thompson Carr of Georgetown and Marilyn Cannon of Seaford; a sister, Emma Cannon of Seaford; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. NEWPORT William Shrouds, who owned a lawn mower business for more than 40 years in Silview, died Wednesday of complications from kidney failure in Christiana Hospital. He was 87. Mr. Shrouds operated Shrouds Mower Service at his home, 100 Adelphia Ave.

When he first opened the business, he sold new mowers, but he later went into the more profitable repair business. He never retired, and when he wasn't busy he could often be seen sitting in a lawn chair chatting with friends in front of his business, said his wife, Margaret. He had been a stationary engineer at Allied Kid Co. for 10 years, retiring in 1968. MA nV.
