I Send (of tampte box Sale fc BROTHER AND SISTER ARE SWEPT OFF THE FORK ROAD Young Lady is Saved But Brother Never Ap peared on Surface Again: Body Recovered: Were on Way to Wedding of Their Brother: Deceased a Prominent Young Man. The swollen waters of the Walhondmg. cheated two months ago of a victim by what seemed the direct interposition of Providence, late Wednesday afternoon carried to an untimely death John Hahn, and his sister, Miss Emma Hahn narrowly sharing his awful fate. The accident happened on the Forks road between Coshocton and Roscoe at almost the exact spot where George Wilson, the aged mail carrier had his terrific battle for life in the January flood.

Hahn and his sister, who live a mile south of Bacon Run, were on their way to the home of John DeMoss. nine miles west of Roscoe where their brother William was to be married to Miss Daisy DeMoss. The driver was unacquainted with the road and the accident was as much due to driving too close to the curb and sidewalk, beyond which lay the deep water, as to the fact that the horse frightened at a piece of driftwood which caused the animal to make its fatal lunge. Both the inmates were drawn with the buggy into deep water. It is thought that John was stunned by the horses hoofs and sank immediately.

His sister was saved. The body was recovered two hours after the accident. The terrible accident has cast a gloom over the entire community and has caused many persons to resolve that the time for trifling with people's lives is past and that human safety is more to be considered than the few dollars extra taxes required for safe and serviceable bridges. The people involved in the accident are the son and daughter of Mr. and William Hahn of l.in- ton tp.

He and Win. McCann were In a wagon that crossed the river ju.st ahead of the Hahns. Mr. Richcreek saw the struggles of the horse and i that Hahn came to the surface once.

Wedding Presents Recovered. A sad memento of the occasion were the wedding presents, which were saved. A pretty hand painted rtiina bowl went sailing down stream after the overturning of the buggy. It was picked up. as was also the hat of the drowned man, and placed in the care of marshal! Cornell of Roscoe.

The bowl contained the card of John Hahn. In the back of the buggy was a fine mantel clock. the gift of Miss Halm. Finding the Body. with his team succeeded in pulling out the buggy and the drowned horse half an hour after the accident occurred 'Several boat loads of men armed with grappling hooka began the search for Hahn's body.

They started from the wall and gradually worked their way down stream. At a point a hundred feet due south from where the accident occurred. Sain Neldon and ('has. Foster first came in contact i the body at 5: 45, an hour after the search began. Their hook caught the young man's shoe and the corpse wag brot to the Murface.

More Money for Eggs under most any conditions. There is a lot of money to be made in the egg business ii conditions are right. There is tno reason why Partners and Poultry should not make just as good profits on their investments as any other line of business, and it is possible for them to do so. The price of eggs during the winter months is double and sometimes more than double that paid during the summer months. The only way to take advantage of this advance is to hold summer eggs for winter prices.
