9 and Ind. 234: Lottery Association. Anna Shinn Anna (Jackson) Shinn, 96, Greenfield, died Monday at Hancock Memorial Hospital. Born April 22, 1899, in Hancock County, she was the daughter of Edward and Lucy (Lowder) Jackson. Mrs.

Shinn was a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughter Helen Cones, Greenfield. She was preceded in death by husbands Jesse Reeves and Oakley Shinn; and brothers Connie, James, John and Paul Jackson. Private graveside services will be at Park Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Vetters officiating.

Carol Jean Simms licenses Martial Carol Jean (Kurtz) Simms, 72, French Lick, formerly of Greenfield, died Sunday at Paoli Hospital, Paoli, Born Jan. 6, 1924, in Mishawaka, she was the daughter of Edson and Lavon (Ives) Kurtz.

Mrs. Simms was co-owner of Simms Bike Shop, 1969-1977, and Lakeview Mobile Home Park, 1982-1993. She was a member of Friends of the Greenfield Public Library. Survivors include husband Joseph W. Simms, French Lick; daughters Janet Simms Gulden, French Lick, and Judy Thomas, Greenfield; son Joseph M.

Simms, Indianapolis; sisters Velma McHenry, Elk Grove, Colleen Earnhart, Plant City, and Joyce Stemm, four and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Philadelphia United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Ely officiating. Arrangements were handled by Pasco Memorial Mortuary.
