He was born on Nov. 7, 1935, in Hart County, to the late Grover Cleveland and Audrey (Rhyner) Cruse.

He is survived by his wife Teresa (Ray) Cruse; and seven children. Henderson, age 82, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, in Greenfield. Born on July 17, 1929, in Heltonville, he was the son of Millard B. and Irene (Peek) Henderson-Boruff. He married Lorena Nester on March 3, 1951, and worked at Western Electric as a tool setter for 43 years before retiring in 1994.

Bill was a member of the VFW in Indianapolis and the American Legion He was also a member of the Sportsman Club at Western Electric and the Pioneers Club at Lucent. Bill was active in the PTA and was a former Scout leader and Little League coach. Mr. Henderson was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving him are his grandchildren, Kelly Mupo of Greenfield, Shawn (Stephanie) Henderson of Randolph, N.Y.; sister, Wilma Pruitt of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Debbie Henderson of Boca Raton, five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife; parents; sons, Michael R. Henderson and Darrell W. Henderson; one brother; and one sister. Visitation will take place at noon on Monday, Oct.

24, 2011, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield, followed by Funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis. Sharon Lynn Holland Sharon Lynn Holland, age 68, a resident of Maxwell, passed away on Thursday, Oct.

20, 2011. She was born on Jan. 7, 1943, in West Frankfort, to the late Kenneth Dawson and Eula (Gambill) Carrier. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School and attended Ivy Tech and IUPUI. She worked at Indiana School for the Deaf and then was a Vocational Education Coordinator for HancockSouth Madison Joint Services from 1979-2007.

She was a member of Greenfield Christian Church. Sharon was the 1999 Coach of the Year for the Special Olympics Area 8, first recipient of the Indiana Council for Exceptional Children Peggy Heinzman Award and the winner of the Vocational Service Award for the Rotary Club of Greenfield in 1999. She was coordinator for basketball, swimming, gymnastics, track and field, bowling, baseball and golf for Hancock County Area 8, Special Olympics, organizer of various teams for Relay for Life and March of Dimes for the Special Olympics, an advocate for special needs children and their families, a member of the Special Education Advisory Board, assisted in coordination of Dinosaur Discovery for Preschool children and past president, vice president and secretary for ARC. She is survived by husband, Bob Holland of Maxwell; daughters, Tami Lively of Terre Haute, Terri (Chris Steele) Norton of Cumberland, Tonya Lemons of Maxwell, and Tiffany (Patrick) Hughey of Maxwell; sisters Debra (Bo) Burns of Brownsburg and Sally (Garry) Wright of Greenfield; brother, Chuck Carrier of Greenfield; step-father, James T. Carrier of West Frankfort, 10 grandchildren, Justin, Chase, Addison, Cameron, Toby, Riley, Ally, Maddy, Tyler and Cooper; and three nephews, Trey, Micah and J.C.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m.

19, 2011, at her home. She was born on July 16, 1938 in Hazard, to Omar and Betty (Charles) Alexander. Survivors include daughters, LaDonna Oakes of Phoenix, Candice Westrum of Idaho, and Chantel Herring of Greenfield; son, Timothy Johnson of Idaho; sisters, Linda Clouse, Wanda Thurman, Brenda McDaniels, Sandy Mc Whister and Sue Gallant; brothers, Carl, David, Dale, Gary and Johnny Alexander; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis A. Johnson; son, Michael Johnson; and brother, Donnie Alexander.

com. Edwin 'Ed' L. Jones Edwin "Ed" L. Jones, age 76, of New Palestine, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, in Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield.

The son of Everett 0. and Ellen L. Hawxhurst Jones, Ed was born Aug. 20, 1935, in Westport, Ind. He was a veteran of the U.S.

Army. Ed was an engineering lab technician for 27 years for Schwitzer, retiring in 1996. Ed is survived by daughters, Pamela S. Abel (Alan) of Edinburgh, and Debra A. Jones (Boon Meksavan) of Schaumburg, grandchildren, Andrew and Emma Abel, both of Edinburgh; and companion, Maxine Wolfal of New Palestine.

Besides 1 his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline L. Burris Jones, whom he married on June 7, 1963, and died Jan. 23, 1985. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, in Hendryx Mortuary, New Palestine Chapel. Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at the Mortuary, 19 East Main Street, New Palestine.

Murphy Jesse G. Murphy, age 81, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Oct.19, 2011, at his home. He was born April 12, 1930, in Greenfield to the late Edgar S. and Mamie Belle (Beaver) Murphy. He was a member of UAW and retired after 33 years from Guide Lamp in Anderson.

He is survived by special friends, Delaney and Rhonda Griffith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rufus Murphy and sisters, Elizabeth Fort, Charlotte Fort, Josephine Murphy and Katherine Kinsel. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.

Schramm, age 95, of New Palestine, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. The daughter of Paul E. and Minnie A. Behrens Kottlowski, Dorothy was born Dec.

20, 1915, in Indianapolis. A graduate of Arsenal Technical High School, Dorothy attended and graduated from the Evanston Nursing School in Evanston, earning her degree as a registered nurse. She worked for Eli Lilly and Company, Indianapolis, for several years. Dorothy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Circle, Lutheran Child and Family Services and the Riley Cheer Guild. Survivors include her daughters, Paula D.

Schramm of New Palestine and Lorraine A. (Steve) Covert of Zionsville; granddaughter, Amy (John) Altman and great-granddaughters, Abby and Molly Altman. Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Armin F. Schramm; brother, Paul E. Kottlowski, Jr.
