An organization meeting for the forming of a 4-H club for the girls of this vicinity will be held at the home of Mrs Ross Koons on Monday at 1'30 p. m. All girls over 10-years of age, who are interested in this club are invited to come to this meeting, where the program of the club will be explained by Miss Tom- bier, home economics instructor of the county. Miss Kime, who is a secretary at the office of Leslie V. Stock, Biglerville school supervising principal, left the bag on a counter in a Harrisburg store while shopping. Two days later she received a letter from Hartford, Conn. Mrs. J.

W. Balsbaugh, of Harrisburg, said in the letter she had picked up the bag in Harrisburg and had planned to turn it over to the store office, but in a rush to leave for Hartford on a vacation trip, had failed to do so. En- route there she opened the bag, found Miss Kime's driver's license, car keys, $52.26 and the like and was returning the bag by mail. The above lot of ground is said to have been part of a larger tract of land which is to have included all that tract of land which John Young devised unto Henry Felty and wife and which Henry Felty and wife by deed dated December 5, 1S93 did sell and convey unto J. Henry Felty.

and being part of the same which George W. Felty and Harry Felty, executors of the Will of Henry Felty. deceased, by their deed dated March 28, 1895. did sell and convey unto Jacob S. Martin and part of the same which Sarah -Ann Felty by her deed dated March 25.

1896 did quitclaim unto Jacob S. Martin and being the same which Jacob S. Martin, bj his deed dated October S. 1895. recorded in Deed Book "VV" at page 603.

did sell and convey unto William G. Hoke and being the same which William Hoke and Alice J. Hoke, his wife, by their deed dated November 30, 1920 recorded in Deed Book 89 at page 596, did bell and convey unto Solomon L. Hoke and being the tame which Solomon L. Hoke and Grace E.

Hoke. his wife, by their deed dated September 20, 1937, recorded in Deed Book 141 at page 266, did and convey unto Ervin A. Rebert. The Board of School Directors has been reliably informed, believes and therefore avers that heretofore the School District had acquired a ieabcr estate in said lot of ground than title in fee simple, all of which factb the said School District will demand proof of upon hearing, if any. under the Act of Assembly hereinbefore mentioned: that the said School District has held said lot of ground tor a public purpose and same has been used for public school purposes tor 50 yeais or more prior hereto; So far as the School District has been able to ascertain the said lot of ground was acquired in 1887 and the names of the owners of such real i-btate at the time of its original acquisition for school purposes were Felty and Sarah A.

Felty, his wife. FURTHER, that this resolution be advertised once in two newspapers of general circulation throughout the County of Adams and that a certified copy of this resolution tocothcr with the proof of publication be entered of record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Adams County, Penn- a i a wheicupon title of the School District afoiesaul in and to Mich real estate shall become absolute title in fee simple."
