Previous to her marriage the bride served as secretary in the administration office of the Civilian Hospital in Saverne. Lt. Howard John (Red) March, 42, one of York county's best-known athletes, died Tuesday evening at the York hospital where he had been admitted only six hours earlier. He was the son of Mrs. Clara J. Wolford, York, with whom he made his home, and John H. March, Rossville.

Two brothers, Lester I. and Richard W. Myers, and a brother-in-law, Wilbur Keener, were discharged recently. Earl E. Myers returned from a two-weeks vacation in Florida.

While there, he visited Lt. Ray Arnold stationed at Daytona Beach. A William P. Menges William Franklin Menges, 75, York Springs, died at the Warner hospital Monday morning at 11:40 o'clock. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday afternoon after suffesi ing a stroke and had been unconscious since his admission.

The deceased was born in Huntington township, a son of the late Emanuel and Rachel (Stouffer) Menges. He was a saddler by trade and was a member of the York Springs Methodist church. Mr. Menges lived in Bradford for 35 years. His first wife, the former Minnie Thomas, died 19 years ago.

Surviving are his second wife, the former Mrs. Mollie Miller, and two brothers, Harry, Bermudian and Charles, York Springs. Funeral services Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock (DST) from the Pittenturf funeral home, York Springs, conducted by the Rev. Paul Denlinger. Interment in Sunnyside cemetery, York Springs.

Eisenhart, 77, wife of Burtis A. Eisenhart, East Berlin, died at 1:15 p. m. April 26 at the York hospital, where she had been a patient for the past 12 days. Death was due to a heart condition.

Mrs. Eisenhart, a life-long resident of East Berlin and vicinity, was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, here, and also belonged to the Friendly BJble class of the Sunday school. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Jacobs, East Berlin R. D.

Mrs. Harry Bohn, who was operated on Monday in the Carlisle hospital is doing nicely.
