Trout won't be going through with plans announced last June to move to KOB-AM. Trout said Thursday he has decided to stay at 94 Rock since the station's new owners, Trumper Communications, have agreed to let him retain ownership of his on-air name. Trout, whose real name is Timothy Lelko, had alleged in a lawsuit that KZRR's previous owners, Sandia Peak Broadcasters, Twin Peaks Radio and River City Broadcasting, had illegally trademarked the name T.J.

Trout without his knowledge. The action meant that Trout who said he developed the name long before he came to KZRR couldn't take the name with him to another station and that KZRR could assign it to someone else. Trout resigned from KZRR in June and signed a contract with KOB-AM to do a talk show. Officials at KOB-AM confirmed Thursday that Trout would not be coming to work there. "We're disappointed, but we wish him the best of luck," said Bob Proffitt, vice president and general manager of Citadel Communications, which owns KOB-AM.

"He's a good guy, a good talent, and we're sorry it didn't work out." Proffitt said he doubted Citadel would take any legal action against Trout. Trout said he went through "a lot of soul searching" before making his decision and said he had nothing but respect for Citadel. Trout has worked for KZRR since 1986. "The problem I had with 94 Rock was not with Medical Research: Women Needed The Martec Group, a medical research firm in Chicago, is recruiting women to participate in a ten-minute phone inter- view. All participants will receive $25 for their participation in the study.
