Shenuski, 59, died in a fall from a ladder at home on Sunday, November 26. He was born on July 28, 1930, in Jessup, PA, and grew up in Wilkes Barre, PA. During the Korean War, he served in the United States Air Force. He worked for 34 years in civil service as Chief of Fabrication Branch, Technical Service Division, Air Force Weapons Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM, and retired in 1988. Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a good outdoorsman.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 401 and Queen of Heaven Parish. He enjoyed working with tools, and in terms of a hobby, had become an excellent gunsmith. He is survived by his wife, Jessie D. Shenuski, and their children, Tony Shenuski and wife, Edril, Jolene Ratliff and husband, Frank, Doris Zetocha and husband, Paul; and grandchildren, Tracy, Joe, and Kara. Palms Trading Co.

Founder Dies at 62 Angelo Del Frate, a longtime Albuquerque businessman, died Tuesday. He was 62. Del Frate, a graduate of Albuquerque High School, joined his family's grocery business at Rio Grande and Central when he returned to Albuquerque after serving in the Navy during World War II. He eventually took over the business. In the mid-1960s, he sold the liquor license and grocery business and opened a jewelry store, the Palms Trading at 15th and Lomas NW.

In 1988, Del Frate completed a $500,000 renovation and expansion, project on the 15th and Lomas property. Four townhouses and an expanded commercial center that included Palms Tax Services, Las Palmas Import Thunderbird Supply and Palms Trading were built under an unusual contract with the Downtown Neighborhood Association. The contract called for Del Frate to pay the association $100,000 if he did not comply with its terms. The contract allowed the Del Frate business to grow while protecting the residential aspects of the adjacent neighborhood. The association later awarded him a certificate of appreciation for his development.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; a daughter, Carla D. King; a son, Mark A. Del Frate; a sister, Ketta Berger; a brother, Guido Del Frate and four grandchildren. All live in Albuquerque. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

DOMINGUEZ Mary S. Dominguez, age 93, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, passed away at a local nursing home on November 27, 1989.

Mary was born November 27, 1896 in Union County, NM. She was the granddaughter of a Pioneer family from Clayton, NM, John and Manuelita Marez, daughter of Andrew William and Ceclia Wolford Sears. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Marcerio and daughter, Virginia Grant. She is survived by two sons, Jose Andres Dominguez and wife Paulina, Sam F. and wife Felima; a daughter, Thelma and husband Neno Segura, all of Albuquerque; 21 grandchildren; 38 greatgrandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitations will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 30, 1989 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church where a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Mike Cimino officiating.

Chapel. GARCIA Peter B. Garcia, 54, of Albuquerque, who had been missing since August 22, 1988. His body was discovered in the Sandia Mountains on Nov. 25, 1989.

He is survived by two sons, David Tomas Garcia and Adrian Paul Garcia; his daughter, Ramona Marie Garcia; his ex-wife, Dorothy Garcia, all of Albuquerque; two sisters, Susie Maher of Florida and Juanita LeGrande of Puerto Rico; also three nephews and three nieces. He was retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department and was a real estate broker at the time of his death. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1 at 1:00 p.m. at John XXIH Catholic Community Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr.

He is survived by bis wife, Rudolpha of Magdalena; two sons, Joshua and Jacob both of Magdalena; one daughter, Jemma of Magdalena; three brothers, Bacilio of Albuquerque, Charlie and Tommy both of Cerritos, CA; three sisters, Mary Baca and Eva Trujillo both of Magdalena and Corine Sanchez of Cerritos, CA; and other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited Thursday, November 30, 1989 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Magdalena. Mass will be Friday, December 1, 1989 at 10:00 a.m.

MCMURRAY Loreen Hurley, died November 27, 1989 at age 85. She had been a resident of Tucumcari since 1913 when her family moved there from McCurtin, Oklahoma. She attended the University of Southern California and the University of New Mexico. She was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was a member of PEO and a teacher in the Tucumcari Public Schools for many years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arch Hurley; her mother, Ola Man Hurley; and her brother, Milas L. Hurley. She is survived by her nephew, Patrick W. Hurley and his family of Albuquerque. Memorial Service will be held at Dunn Funeral Home in Tucumcari on Friday, December 1, 1989 at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Wichita Falls, Texas, at Riverside Cemetery. PERALTA Socorrita Romero Peralta, a lifelong resident of Belen and Jarales, died on Wednesday. She was born March 1906, and was the daughter of Serapia and Jose Romero and stepdaughter of Macario Romero. She was a woman with a deep and unceasing faith in God and lived a life that was a daily testament of her devotion. She was a woman of striking character and faced life with strength and courage, never letting personal loss or heartache interfere with the hard work of being a wife and mother of a large family.

Her home was always ready for company and she enjoyed extending hospitality to friends and family. Socorrita took a special interest in the spiritual Ufe of her children and many grandchildren and was a wonderful source for stories about the sometimes quiet, sometimes miraculous ways God and His saints worked in her own life. In final months, she was lovingly cared for by all her children. The family extends a special thank you to the caring staff at the Valencia Presbyterian Hospital. She is survived by one son and his wife, Abel and Christina Peralta of Barstow, CA; and six daughters; Manuelita Peralta of Jarales, NM, Sadie Barela and husband Joseph of Albuquerque, Tom Sparber and husband Fred of Belen, NM, Angie and Ernest Vallejos of Belen, NM, Nora Rivera and husband Ramon of Milan, NM, and Corinne Willison and Ray of Portland, OR.

She is survived by four grandsons: Richard, John, Lawrence and Fidel and eight granddaughters: Lynda, Gina, Loretta, Yvonne, JoAnna, Dina, Debra and Helen, and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Elif as, her sons Fidel and Felipe, brothers Abel and Felipe and grandsons Robert and David. Her surviving sisters are Stella Sanchez and husband Eulogio and Reina Trujillo and husband Juan, of Belen, NM. Viewing will be Thursday at 2 p.m. and the rosary will be that night at 7 p.m., both at Romero Funeral Home in Belen.

The Funeral Mass will be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be John and Lawrence Barela, Yvonne and Fidel Vallejos and Loretta Jaramillo. BORING Mae Boring, 67, an Albuquerque resident for 21 years, died Tuesday.
